Missing breakfast and lunch.. I gobbled up a couple of double down sandwiches since I was sooo starving! And boy was it satisfying. I love salty food so the combination of chicken fillet, cheese, and bacon strips was perfect!!!

The following day, my dad bought one for me for lunch.

Blech. Realized it was too greasy and it would be better if the chicken fillet would sandwich rice instead since their goal is an on-the-go meal.

Eat this when youre hungry folks. Only when youre hungry.

Will there be a next time?
Yes! :)

Maybelline Dream Matte Powder in Cream

I have been using this powder for a couple of months now and neglected to review because of the following reasons:

1. It isnt such a bad product that would enrage me to post a rant review
2. It isnt such a great product that would encourage me to post a rave review

In short. So-so.

But the effect of this powder to me this morning made me want to post that in reality, I am not so happy with this product after all.

Since I have combination skin, this made the sides of my nose flake, and after a few hours, my skin turns dull and gray.

The term dull is a huge NOOOOO in my vocabulary and in my skin. Dont we all want our skin to look bright and youthful? Oily folks may want to try this product out. But this, is definitely not for me.

Since I've been so paranoid about aging ever since I hit my 20's I decided to try Belo Nutraceutecals a shot.
It promises skin lightening, anti aging, and detoxification for pure youthful skin.

This is not a paid advertisement as the pills were sponsored by my auntie haha :) Her hard earned money, and sometimes mine too.

It costs around 45 pesos per pill and they instructed to use it 2x a day. I'm trying to cut costs so I just take a pill a day since I'm not that heavy anyway and 250mg of glutathione is just alright for my weight of 43kg.

A month after taking it, I just noticed this today, I thought it was just my bb cream before. But earlier this morning, under natural lighting, I checked in the mirror and saw flecks of sparkle on my face.

Is it glitter?

I just took a bath, cleansed my face and put nothing on my face.

It it shimmer?

My skin looked luminous!!! Luminous is the perfect term to describe it. It was all healthy and glowing, not like before that I needed to use a highlighters just to look 'fresh' and 'awake'

I tried several brands of glutathione before and it's the first time that I saw visible effects this fast!

It's not so much noticeable in pictures so it won't make so much sense posting it, and my camera is crappy anyway. But this is probably the best brand of beauty pill that I've tried.

Haha.. and I got so giddy! I have been listening to The KC Show a lot! (Wave 89.1 9am-11am) every morning since they are so funny! Especially when they do "T-Pain".. Try and listen to them sometime and see what I mean.

There was some random contest and I told myself, hey what the heck I'd dial the number..

it rang!!!!!

It was actually for real!!! I got to talk to Mr. KC Montero himself.

To be honest, he was my "teenage crush" because he's so funny and cute when VJ-ing
in MTV

Being a Radio Jock is my dream JOB!
Not job.. dream LIFE! Hey.. I can even work as a dj for FREE. *ehem* So I got excited when I get
to sexify my voice radio-like like the djs do.

Fast forward and.. I won a bag and a t-shirt from Vans.. I felt boyish that day so.. yeah It radiates on my photo... :P Felt like a cute guy.

How about you guys? Have you ever one something? A TV contest? A radio contest? Share! I wanna know!

Thanks KC! From K!

Nagparebond ka? (Did you get a straight perm?)
That's what my boss told me.

It's a usual line in shampoo commercials when they answer

"Shinampoo ko lang yan.."
(I just shampooed my hair)

But to tell you the truth.

I really did only shampoo my hair.

I was never a fan or hair rebonding or other chemical treatments, I want my hair au naturelle so when my
boss told me that, I am not so sure if I would be flattered or offended hehe.

This was the result of using Fanny Serrano's HairCare line for 3 weeks (alternate with any random shampoo every 3 days to avoid dandruff)
During the first week, I didnt notice any difference with my hair, I was even tempted to return to my usual brand which is Human Heart Nature
but I told myself that I should be honest with my readers and give a detailed review on this shampoo.

During the first week, hair adjusted, it was sticky, and flimsy. But as days go by, my limp lifeless hair was actually fuller, shinier
and bouncier. Not kidding!!!! And having the label "Babaeng hindi nagsusuklay" (Girl who doesnt comb her hair) Even if I do,
I was really happy when people start noticing my hair. They even thought I went to the parlor.

So what's my regimen? Fanny's Strengthening Line for Frizzy and Dry Hair. It's his line for those who are prone to damage,
hairfall and the likes.

It's the one in the blue bottle!

Daily Regimen:
1. Shampoo - use a quarter size for long hair, it lathers well! I think a 200ml bottle would last half a year
2. Conditioner - Sometimes I get lazy, but I make it a point to condition my hair after I shampoo, 2-3x a week
3. Hair Treatment - This is a favorite of mine. I use it once a week and leave it on for 15 minutes. It's like
an intensive hair treatment from the parlor that you can use at home.

I was not paid to do this review, and my boss' comments were also not paid for Haha!

*Note this is not a paid advertisement nor was I given products in exchange for this review

Reasons Why I Love this Shop

1. Seller is one of the nicest Ive encountered, considered her as a friend already.
2. Theyre not limited to one country. The offer cosmetics from Korea, Taiwan, Japan, HongKong.
3. Most of the best sellers are always on hand.
4. Fast shipment!
5. They have a "store" in QC where you can pickup items and even browse around for more.

WeHaveIt43 began its success by selling BRTC and Legere BB creams for a really affordable price.
Only 999php and it's authentic. Some resellers panicked and even tagged her products as 'fake'
but she has a lot of buyers and can prove that all she sells are authentic.

She has beauty gadgets, supplements, and hard to find cosmetics!

You know the feeling when a product is being raved by most asian bloggers and we can't purchase it here
in the Philippines?
Fear no more, you can get it at their store ;)

Recommended Purchases:
1. Legere Multi White BB Cream - My holy grail BB cream
2. DHC Skin Supplements
3. MAjolica majorca lash expander frame plus mascara
4. Kiss Me Heroine Make me Long and Curl Mascara

Great News! I'm taking orders for any item available on the Cath Kidston USA
I'm going to order some bags and accessories and decided to hold a pre-order to earn some extra and save shipping! This is a lot cheaper than buying from expensive ebay sellers who sell twice or up to three times the price. Or the hassle of ordering on-line + custom duties.

This is a great buy! A great bag for a new year! :) I simply love this bag because it's so chic yet functional and sturdy.

Yes guys and gals! (err.. gals only! hehe) One of our favorite brands is having another sale. All items 25% off
and they will also release their 2010 Symphony Holiday Collection.

Thanks to Nikki of askmewhats for posting this!

Their theme is lovely.. music and notes! I'm a music lover too so the way they packaged their collection is definitely a ++!

Must haves are the following

  1. Dual Protective Powder Foundation
  2. Dual Protective Liquid Foundation
  3. Eye & Lip Color Set
It's kinda sad that the eyeshadows look like oversized samples though, just cards with no protection.

Collagen is a long, fibrous protein that together with elastin and soft keratin , forms the connective tissue (literally, the tissue that "connects" the skin together) which is responsible for your skin's elasticity and strength. Skin aging - thinning of the skin, appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and age spots, occur when the collagen begins to break down in your skin. This process is a natural part of aging, which usually begins by your late 20's.

When this begins to happen to us ("I think I see a new laugh line at the corner of my eyes"), many of us seek help in a bottle, or in a jar. And there are many good products out there. Some do a good job of giving temporary results and some don't. In a future article, I will cover which products you can trust. For now, I want to warn you away from the many topical skin care products on the market that contain collagen and make great claims - THEY DON'T WORK! I know this is counter-intuitive; if your skin needs to rebuild collagen and the product contains collagen, it MUST work, right? Well, no. The reason these collagen-containing products don't work is that the collagen molecules are just too large to get inside the skin and do their job of rebuilding. In short, they are simply imposters.

You must build collagen from the inside out!

Dr. Perricone is an expert in the area of the role of foods and nutrients in inflammation, cellular regeneration, and anti-aging. Watch his video below for insight into the inflammatory process in the body - and reversing it - through nutrition.

    Lifestyle Strategies for Beautiful Skin

So, with all the options available, how in the world are you supposed to know what YOU can do to rejuvenate your skin's elasticity and plumpness? Great question. In this article, we are going to look at the lifestyle strategies that you can adopt to slow down, halt, and even reverse the aging process in your skin to an amazing degree.

First and foremost, DO NOT SMOKE. If you already smoke, the best thing you can do for your skin is to quit. Nothing ages your skin quite so fast as smoking.
If you consume alcohol, do so in extreme moderation, as alcohol has a very similar effect on the skin as cigarette smoking.
Exercise a minimum of three to four times a week. Exercise is good for every aspect of your health, and your skin is no exception.
Finally, the lifestyle choice that has the capacity to make the most improvement in your skin is eating the right foods. Notice that I did not give the garden variety advice to "eat right." There are very specific nutrients that work to protect the existing collagen in your skin, and there are nutrients that actually stimulate collagen regrowth in your skin.
Fresh Face Collagen with Collagen-Boosting Ingredients

    Collagen-Boosting Nutrients

The inside-to-outside approach is always your best bet for health and beauty. To look younger, your body must produce new collagen cells in your skin. You must consume foods that help your body protect the collagen it has, while providing the building blocks it needs to build new collagen fibers.

Cold water fish, such as salmon, sardines, cod, mackerel, and tuna are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids that keep skin soft and supple. Eating three to four ounces at least twice a week gives you good amounts of these essential fatty acids. If you are vegan, you can take two Tbsp. of flax seed oil daily instead.

Garlic contains sulfur , which helps your body produce collagen. Garlic contains taurine and lipoid acid, which support damaged collagen fibers. Make garlic a regular component of your meat dishes, stews, beans, soups, ethnic meals, and pasta.

Tomatoes are rich in the antioxidant lycopene , which inhibits collagenases . Collagenases are enzymes that destroy collagen. While many foods have higher nutrient values when they are eaten raw, tomatoes actually contain greater amounts of lycopene when they are cooked. Enjoy liberal doses of stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, marinara sauce, and spaghetti sauce.

Hot Chili Peppers are an excellent source of Vitamin C!
    Vitamin C: Collagen-Boosting Supernutrient

Vitamin C is critical for collagen production in the skin. Therefore, you'll want to make it a priority to eat foods high in Vitamin C.

Many fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of Vitamin C. And of course, we all know that citrus fruits, such as oranges, lemons, and grapefruit are good sources of Vitamin C. That is true. However, did you know that even though these foods ARE good sources of Vitamin C, they are NOT THE BEST sources?

That's right. A number of other fruits and vegetables contain superior amounts of Vitamin C to citrus fruit! Surprisingly, for you guys and gals that love spicy foods, hot chili peppers is THE TOP PICK for Vitamin C - both the red and green varieties! I always knew there was a reason to love salsa. Ola!!

    Best Sources of Vitamin C

Vitamin C per 3.5 ounce serving

As you can see in more detail in the tables, the top Vitamin C-containing superfoods (besides hot peppers) are . . . . . .

    Picture with Flash

Would you actually believe I am wearing the notorious Dr. Jart Silver Label BB Cream here? The BB cream brand that a lot of users say give white cast and such.

I have been a BB cream user for around 3 years now and tried more than 25 brands (yup! and too lazy to review all of them) and my problem with them when I was starting out is the deadly white cast it gives especially in flash photography.

See any white cast in the photo? Nadda, hooray!

    Tip #1
Less is more, all bb creams when applied way too much will and will make you look like an espasol (powdered rice cake) . A pea size is all you need for the whole face. A pea size. Please remember that BB cream is not really supposed to cover everything granted it gives good coverage. It is meant to enhance and brighten the skin.

To apply the pea size, rub the product on the palm of your hands to warm it up, and pat pat pat on the whole area on the face. Blend afterwards. Proper blending is the key, the heat will make the product sink in your skin making it more natural.

Use a setting powder with minimum SPF or much better if without. When you set the BB Cream with a powder of your skin tone, and no spf, it will cover the titanium dioxide of the BB cream and will result to a beautiful finish.

Hope these techniques would let you use ANY BB Cream you want without limitations! Update me when it works for you too! :)

It's relatively a new brand here in the Philippines but beware of fakes at S&R and Greenhills.
There are no official retailers for original Cath Kidston bags here and most can be bought from UK or Japan.
I don't own one yet but oil cloth and floral prints seem nice :)

Here's a useful site to Spot a Fake Cath Kidston
There's one seller on ebay but it's overpriced!

Being a mom, I need a roomy bag for both my baby and my stuff. I hate bringing two bags for both of us haha.

Lemming alert! I want a day bag!

I think it's cheaper if I used my CC and have it shipped thru Johnny Air
