The feel and comfort of a cream in a pressed powder, giving you 8 HOURS OF NON-STOP RADIANCE.

All day long, the skin maintains its fresh and velvety appearance, as if the powder was just applied:
- 81% more radiance 8 hours after a single application.
- The skin texture is velvety and naturally even.
- The skin’s radiance is revived. The skin texture is velvety and naturally even.

Two applicators for two makeup results:
- With the soft touch sponge for a finish with good coverage. Gently press over entire face.
- With the soft touch sponge for a finish with good coverage. Gently press over entire face.
Use VITALUMIÈRE ÉCLAT COMPACT on its own, or after VITALUMIÈRE Fluid for a more sophisticated result.

Lack of sleep perhaps? On days we get a good night's rest, the grey dull skin is gone, but most of the time we dont get a good shut-eye w need a makeup that can make me look like we got 8 hours of rest and not look like we're trying so hard to cover it up.

Good, fake skin. This is what Chanel Vitalumiere Eclat Comfort Radiance Pact gave me. It gives a nice long lasting glowy finish sans the shimmer.

without flash

with flash (ooooh it glows..)

What I Like

  • It feels like Im wearing no foundation at all
  • Finely milled, super soft texture and when you feel your skin it's like the skin of a baby once more
  • It comes in a velvet pouch and has both a sponge and brush you can actually use!
  • No visible shimmer, just nice wonderful well-lit glow
  • Photogenic and doesnt give of an unslightly white cast
  • Melts in your skin goodness
  • Unlike other foundations, after washing this off it feels like my skin was still able to breathe and even looked better after use.
  • Refillable

What I Dont Like

  • I have normal skin and it settled into fine lines :( even with a primer. I need to check every so hours if it settled so I could just reblend it to look better.
  • Coverage is so-so
  • The scent. I wish it was fragrance-free

Who Would I Recommend This To? This foundation should suit people with dryer skin types, mature skin as it really diffuses pores and make skin look around 5 years younger at most.

I would keep this, but would still continue my search. When I was at the counter I was deciding between this one and mat lumiere, I shouldve settled for mat lumiere. It gave better coverage and finish.

Update: Commercial anti-persperants clog our pores causing dark spots and more. I'm no longer using this as a deodorant and opted for a more natural way to lighten and smoothen my underarms although I know it would take time. I forgot that I did this regimen to whiten my dark and clogged underarms. I'm going back to this regimen

A note to my readers. This post will have no amusing images of armpits, (or disgusting before pictures), no false promises, no advertising, no backup images. Just an honest testimony from someone like many of you. Who suffered with shame from having unpleasant looking pits.

These are the steps I took, that in a span of 6 months time, after discovering the right regimen. I achieved significantly lighter, smooth, and chickenskin-free armpit glory. It worked for me, it may work for you.

1. STOP shaving START waxing - If laser treatments are too costly for you. I suggest you start waxing your pits, there are a lot of waxing salons spread around the metro costing from as cheap as 100 pesos to as pricey as a 1000 pesos. Shaving is the number one cause of bumps, lumps, and utter darkness. Preventing those, will help in the longterm. Waxing makes hair grow slower, and thinner, it also plucks out almost everything unlike shaving that only the top stuff is taken out.

2. Exfoliate your pits daily - If you love scrubbing, scrub your pits at least once a day because it accumulates most of the sweat grime and deo daily. It will also help prevent skin clogging that will cause the bumps. Exfoliating gently using a scrub of your choice will help reveal new skin.

3. Use deodorant only when needed - If you just lounge around the house, or if you don't sweat a lot and work in a cold environment, you can skip the strong deo and use a tawas alternative instead or Milcu

4. Calamansi - I use calamansi once a week, squeezing the juice on a cotton ball and leave it for 5 min on both pits. It has natural bleaching agents that can whiten skin. It's natural, it's cheap, and it works.

For those who will ask what safe deodorant to use here are a few brands that doesnt cause further darkening

1. Milcu - A personal fave around 80 pesos at all leading drugstores and supermarkets
2. Deonat - 80 pesos at watson's a stick alternative to tawas

Hope I helped, Hope it will work for you

Cheers to summer and baring and wearing! :)

On my last posts, Ive been discussing about different skincare since my skin has been breaking out really badly. L
Poor old me also kept on searching for makeup that can effectively hide my acne and scars without contributing to
More of them in replacement haha. My current makeup are not working for me and seem to be clogging up my pores (Chanel, Shu, Legere, Clarins) L

The purchasing of these products have a very silly coincidental story.

1.       I was supposed to purchase my to-go safe foundation, VMV Skin Savvy SPF 60 but upon arrival at the store at boni heights, it’s out of stock since December 2010 and have no idea
When they will have new stocks.
2.       Next stop, Shiseido White Lucent Spot Correcting Foundation. Went to Shiseido and to my surprise, they still had old stocks of foundation and white lucent was inexistent.
3.       Went back to Market Market a bit dismayed, dropped by The Body Shop because of the huge “SALE” sign (yes, I’m a victim..) and got intrigued with their new Shiso Line and hey, the BB cream is 20% off and their 2-way is 40% off!

The key ingredient, shiso extract, has been especially chosen for this sophisticated collection. This shiso plant has been used in the Moisture White™ collection, as it can reduce early melanin-making signals even before the hyperpigmentation process and melanin production cycle starts – helping prevent uneven skin tone, brown spots and freckles. By focusing on early melanin activation, Moisture White™ helps minimise dark spots formation and discolouration. The benefits of shiso also mean that cells in the epidermis can improve the appearance of dark spots on the skin’s surface, so you can enjoy renewed skin confidence.
Shiso extract is combined with Vitamin C, liquorice and Community Trade organic aloe, a blend of ingredients providing the Moisture White™ range with the efficiency to address hyperpigmentation. Vitamin C is included as it provides antioxidant protection, helping to reduce melanin production. Liquorice extract from the root of the Glycyrrhiza Glabra plant is chosen by The Body Shop for the Moisture White™ collection as it helps address hyperpigmentation.

The key ingredients featured in The Body ShopMoisture White Shiso Collection are:
·                     Shiso Extract -- reduces melanin making signals (this plant is also known as Japanese Basil)
·                     Vitamin C -- provides antioxidant protection to reduce melanin production
·                     Licorice Extract -- helps address hyperpigmentation
·                     Community Trade Organic Aloe - to moisturise and hydrate skin
·                     Batyl Alcohol - which helps to reduce skins response to the melanin attack on the skin

Still not convinced, I asked the nice SA to test both the BB cream and powder foundation on my skin. I liked the SA at Market Market branch, she’s not snooty like most Body Shop SA’s are *ehemMegamall*ehem* it looked so good that even if their BB cream and Foundation only provides sheer-medium coverage, it covered my acne and scars effectively. The range also promises to lessen hyperpigmentation and prevent skin darkening/melasma + SPF 35 (oh how I love SPFs, please please use SPF)

I was wowed with how natural and even toned my skin looked. This morning my officemate told me that I looked haggard and dull. Returning after lunchtime, she asked me “Nagpafacial ka ba?” My skin looked that good and fresh!  However, after a few hours, I looked in the mirror and saw a dreaded laugh line. It sank to my laugh line that isnt even noticeable without makeup.
But a few touch here and there and it looks okay again. It's also not recommended for oily skinned gals because it's very moisturizing and considering I have dry skin, it oiled up on me hehe.

Will I buy again? Probably not because I’m the type of person who really don’t usually loyally stick to something unless it super super super awesome and legend… wait for it…

(Apologies for my HIMYM reference, I’m in love with Barney’s character even though he’s openly gay in real life, he’s such a good actor he can carry the role of a womanizer!)
