What was Your Biggest Money Mistake?

This will serve as my reflection to my past mistakes financially. Especially when I was a shopaholic. This day is marked as my "Freedom" day because I am finally free of debt and addiction to shopping.

It has been more than a month, and I cant even remember the last time I had that "impulse" buy. Yes I had money to spare, but I had finally gained the control over myself not to buy what I don't need. You can read my story and some tips below, and hope you can share to me your struggles or achievements as well.

Best Milk Tea EVER: Gong Cha Milk Tea (NOT Philippines)

Update 9-29-2011: Gong Cha Philippines have severely declined in quality and service. Tea is bland, service is slow and poor, I noticed a lot of people getting mad with wrong orders and mix ups and unfriendliness of staff. I am no longer a fan of Gong Cha Philippines. I suggest you try Gong Cha elsewhere where it isnt inferior and you would not be disappointed. Today was my last order of Gong Cha after suggesting and commenting on their FB site so many times on how the tea should taste etc etc. Today was my worst serving ever.
For those who are craving for good tea in the Philippines. I suggest getting one from Serenitea or Happy Fanshu.

ANTM All Stars: Who's Your Bet?

Anyone who's been following America's Top Model since 1st season please raise your hands and do your fiercest smize

*raises hands and smizes* @_@

Yes folks, watching ANTM is one of my guilty pleasures and even though I don't get to watch on TV now, I make sure I get the latest episodes from streaming sites like cucirca or youtube haha! My favorite cycles are 16 and 6, since almost all the models there are very high fashion. My favorite judge was Paulina and Janice. I think Tyra fires judges who tries to upstage her (boo Tyra-nt)

Yep, so I'm back. I miss blogging so much agad.. I kinda feel incomplete if there's I day I don't post something, heh.. miss you guys.. a truckload of photos in my cam waiting to be posted, and articles swirling in my head waiting to be written.

I wanted a natural nail color this time and I'm glad Belle and Cat has a lot of shades of polish I can choose from. Please forgive me, I really don't know how to put polish on my nails as perfect as they can :P
It's a nice natural shade of pink, usually used in french tips but I wanted my nails to be in one tone

Yes that is correct, my friends even say theyre sick of seeing the same blush on me. (But I still love it, I might get other shades naman)

Zombadings Review + FOTD: Ruby Who? Ruby Woo! : A Classic Makeup Look

Zombies + Badings (Gays) = Zombadings!

We watched Zombadings and I feel happy that somehow, people are appreciating indie films more. Theyre probably tired of the formulaic mainstream movies by big productions like star cinema, viva, regal, gma films, to name a few. Where it's either drama, romantic comedy, horror that is written ever so similarly and even if there are "plot twists" you can still predict what's going to happen.

Mosbeau Placenta White All-In-One Cream and Soap Initial Thoughts

Who doesn't love getting free items to try? :) Especially a test guinea pig like me
Review of the Mosbeau Underarm Cream can be read here:
http://www.kikaysikat.com/2011/09/mosbeau-placenta-white-underarm-inner.html

Just like I mentioned in my previous posts, some people want to be darker some people want to be lighter. I am on the latter side of the group and since I turned 13 I have been trying out all sorts of whitening products from soaps to creams to lotions. In the long run they may have had their share of skin lightening together with taking glutathione capsules.

Food: La Creperie Salted Caramel Crepe

Hmm.. salted caramel... sounds good right? And the way they described it in the menu is that it is their "special" sauce that only "they" have. But to tell you bluntly, it is nothing special, they put tiny stripes of sauce on the crepe that I could barely taste it. It's nothing special nor unique because you can get exactly the same sauce (even better tasting) at Starbucks, with their caramel waffle (Mmmm.. makes me crave for one but I'm on the Duket Diet).

Mosbeau Placenta White Underarm & Inner Thigh Cream First Thoughts

Update: Commercial anti-persperants clog our pores causing dark spots and more. I'm no longer using this as a deodorant and opted for a more natural way to lighten and smoothen my underarms although I know it would take time. I would update you SOON

I am a victim of underarms with unslightly chicken skin and clogged pores. I remember when I had my armpits wax she told me "Mam sayang naman po ang puti ng kili kili nyo pero ang daming tuldok tuldok para pong polkadots" (Translation: Mam it's very unfortunate, your underarms are white but you have unslightly dots, like polkadots) Ouch! This was the third time the waxer mentioned this to me, and trust me I have tried all sorts of experiments and even derma treatments to have this fixed but none worked... yet.

After More than 20 I Finally Found the One

FOUNDATION! Haha! C'mon, tell me what you first thought of when you read the title? *rolls over the floor giggling* after watching several previous of Anna Faris' movie "What's Your Number" I can definitely sorta relate to it in comparison to finding the best foundation for my skin type. It actually took years of trial and error, frustrations and setbacks, breakouts and scarring, and the dreaded oompa loompa orange face care of my fellow blogger pammy.

Makeup Magic: How to Make Eyes Bigger

A lot of girls have been into ulzzang beauty (perfect face) and how korean and japanese style themselves. I asked my sister in law from japan what is their secret and it's really amazing what these 3 key pieces of cosmetics can do:

I did a review on my favorite circle lens here since its so comfortable!

Addicted to Bubble Teas? Read This

Now if you're like me who drinks the largest size of bubble tea almost everyday, beware. I just learned from
http://www.infobarrel.com/8_Drinks_That_Will_Make_You_Fat that Bubble Tea tops the list as the number one drink to make you fat/obese. Considering these bubble tea shops are popping everywhere in our country from Gong Cha, Cha-Time, Happy Lemon and Serenitea to name a few (oh they're my faves).

For the Boys: L'oreal Menexpert Invisible Protect Deodorant

I'm blogging this on behalf of my hubby, who wants to share to my readers (especially if they are male) or boyfriends or hubbies of my readers. :p

He has is fair share of unwanted perspiration and have tried all sorts of products to prevent this, including the super strong driclor (which did not work on him and he told me it was sticky), rexona, dove, nivea. Trust me, this hubby of mine tried a lot already.

A Neutrogena Hydroboost Update

I have been using the Neutrogena Hydroboost Facial Foam and Gel for over 2 months now and while it's a very good moisturizer, I like products with whitening in them HAHA! Let's not argue about color, some people want to be darker some people want to be lighter. I am on the latter side. Pun not intended.

I put it at night and love how cool, refreshing and light it is to the skin. I used to not put any moisturizer at night because I want my skin to feel bare and breath. I can tolerate this one because after putting in on for a while, it feels nothing already, really just like water! :)

The best thing about it is that it did not aggrevate my existent acne (pre-existent? Im acne free!) With regards to it claims to balancing skin moisture. I believe it so. When using this gel, my skin does not get oily, nor tight and dry. I have combination skin! I think this will work on all skin types :)

Cheap and Chic Accessories from 168 Divisoria

Helloooooooo to everyone!!!! :) I was wondering if my readers are fond of accessories... if yes, where do you buy them? What kind do you like to buy and wear?

To be honest, I can be happy with a pair of pearl studs and go out without feeling bare, I know some of you has this urge to put on the complete set of necklace, bangles, and hey some even wear anklets hehe.
Well if you're on a budget and still would like to find amazing finds (not just accessories) you can go on a trip to Divisoria where all retailers get their products and sell them at malls for 200% the price! HAHA!

Here's a guide to Divisoria if you're not familiar with the place

Belle and Cat Nail & Wax: OPI I Get a Kick Out of Gold

No matter how hard I try, even if I read so many tutorials especially from nikki of askmewhats.com, I really can't do my own nails. BUT! I love painting them so I decided to post my nail polish of the week or 2 weeks or something.

Manang's Chicken.. It Tastes Better Everytime!

People are raving about this chicken recently on how this is the better version of Bon-chon. I had to try it so I had it delivered straight to our office for lunch. They only charge you 40PHP for delivery regardless of the total amount of food you ordered.

Update 09-22-2011: After ordering from Manang's 4 times, their chicken seem to tastes a lot better each time. Now the spicyness is perfect, sweet and salty is balanced and the chicken is still soooo crispy! Love it! I also love their customer service and fast delivery

Hype this Look: GlamRock

It's my first time to share something I wore in lookbook.. :) Just wanted to keep a journal of what I wear when I try to wear something coordinated. So a slight disclaimer for the bad lighting, bad angle, small size and whatnots, I'll try to improve as each look goes by.. hopefully!

Allue My First. Eyeshadow for Tweens Only!

Technically this is not my first eyeshadow duo.. that's just the name of the product. I got this from the 88PHP shopping spree at HBC.

I actually got this for 44PHP

Gong Cha now Open at Glorieta 4 Food Choices!

Weeeeeee... I'm so happy to share this with everyone that my favorite milk tea place is finally finally near where I work haha! No more super long delivery times and no more purchasing milk tea from other brands just to get my fix.

It's conviniently located at Food Choices Glorieta and I got this feeling that lines are going to be long :) It's my favorite milk tea shop ever since I had one at SG. So thankful it's here in the Philippines. If it's your first time, try Gong Cha House Special Green Tea 100% sugar. I like 50% wintermelon 50% alisan tea with their special cream... trust me, it tastes sooo good it has a really nice firm creamy texture with the perfect mix of sweet and salty.

Butoh (舞踏 Butō?) is the collective name for a diverse range of activities, techniques and motivations for dance, performance, or movement inspired by the Ankoku-Butoh (暗黒舞踏 ankoku butō?)movement. It typically involves playful and grotesque imagery, taboo topics, extreme or absurd environments, and is traditionally performed in white body makeup with slow hyper-controlled motion, with or without an audience. There is no set style, and it may be purely conceptual with no movement at all. Its origins have been attributed to Japanese dance legends Tatsumi Hijikata and Kazuo Ohno.
