I saw this being reposted on my facebook wall and thought maybe if I posted it on my blog someone would take notice, if lolo marcelo is a relative of theirs or can help him. (Ehem maybe from the media?) There are a lot of old people who needs help, and many who are missing from their relatives with reasons we don't know. But if there's a chance we can help them one person at a time let's do try.

If ever you don't know Lolo Marcel Centes, if you can repost this on your blog, facebook wall, twitter, tumblr, or wherever please do :)
Mascaras and eyeliners are part of my daily makeup routine. But have you ever felt so tired at the end of the day, that you couldnt even have the strength to clean up and remove all the makeup gunk on your eyes and face. Wishing you could just peel it all off.

Credits to on

Well you see, false eyelashes does the job. You slap it on the morning, you peel it off at night. You can curl it together with your natural lashes to make it even look more natural and some add more drama by putting on mascara after. I see a lot of Japanese women putting these on and it makes their eyes really pop and look "alive"

I got tired of the mascara part though. Just for a day; So today was my first, and a very much epic fail at putting on false eyelashes.
Ooh look at that huge gap =)) This is me, getting karma for being a critic to strangers who have huge gap with their eyeliners :D
The lashes look very natural. I used the glue also sold at Daiso.
Guess I need some more practice here eh? I have this very shakey hands. Calling my sisters and sisterettes who are false lashes experts especially my co-beauty bloggers! You can post your tips here please share with me, and share to all readers ^_^

Will try an attempt again, hope I do better next time! *crosses fingers* By the way, I got my lashes at Saizen by Daiso. But there are a lot of cheap lashes for 20 pesos at HBC as well

Another PS
Should I wear falsies this Saturday? Yes/No? Have a special event to attend to. I wonder if Nikki from will also be there? She's one of the bloggers I want to meet in person! ^^;

D'oh.. I shouldve gotten the regular eyeliner set. Now all I have are browns, bronzes, grays, and a black. It's my first time to own these set of eyeliners and I'm an "eyeliner" addict. Eyeliners are a great way to enhance your eyes without being to obvious compared to colorful eyeshadows. I am trying my hardest to master the "natural no makeup look"  and liners are one of the main keys.

L-R: Stray Dog, Underground, Bourbon, Demolition, Zero

Zero is dark black eyeliner–it’s not as intense as Perversion, but it’s not a gray-black either. It’s a soft black overall. This is a permanent shade.
Demolition is a dark brown with subtle amber warmth around the edges. This is a new and exclusive shade. Try CoverGirl Brown as a possible dupe.
Bourbon is a warm, medium-dark brown with subtle bronze shimmer. This is a permanent shade.
Underground is a taupe brown with a satin sheen. This is a permanent shade.
Stray Dog is a gray taupe with a satin sheen. This was available in the 15th Anniversary Set previously.

Urban decay eyeliners do glide like silk and butter, no harsh tugging and once it sets, it really sets. BUT I still don't recommend this for lining your waterline because it still, and it will smudge. The best liner for waterlining is still Makeup Forever's Aqua Eyes. But overall it's a pretty good deal because the set is just a few bucks from a full sized pencil.

Anyway, Temptalia did a better job in doing the swatches.

:) I recently got a new phone and was frustrated at Sun Cellular's useless customer service who told me to go to the Sony's shop to have my intenet set-up. *rolls eyes* Good thing there was google and I had to google my way for the correct internet settings.

This set-up works on most Android Phones.

For those who want to know how to setup their Android devices to work with Globe Telecom, Smart or Sun Cellular mobile Internet, you may follow these simple steps.I'm using an Xperia Ray.

Press the Menu button.
Then tap Settings.
Choose Wireless & networks (usually the first option unless you have custom UI [e.g. HTC Sense UI, Samsung TouchWiz UI])
Select Mobile networks.
Then go to Access Point Names.
Press the Menu button.
Then tap New APN.
Supply the following settings:
For Globe Telecom
Name: GLOBE (or anything you want)
For Smart and Talk and Text
Name: SMART (or anything you want)
APN: internet
Name: SUN (or anything you want)
APN: minternet
Authentication type: PAP
For SUN POSTPAID or line
Name: SUN (or anything you want)
APN: fbband
Authentication: PAP
For SUN Prepaid and Postpaid, you may need to activate mobile internet service. You may request service activation by calling 888.

Enjoy your Internet!

Thank you very much
Here's a picture of Benefit's bestsellers in one complete mini kit. The Benefit Big 10! This is perfect for girls like me who cannot finish up a full size because of makeup rotation. (Rotating cosmetics so you get to use em all)

The Big 10
What it is:
A travel-size set of 10 small wonders that pack a big punch.

What it does:
This set includes the biggest hits of the season: primers, concealers, lip-and-cheek tints, highlighters, and blushes. This set packs all the Benefit legends you love in conveniently compact sizes.

This set contains:
- 0.1 oz Dandelion (soft pink)
- 0.11 oz Erase Paste in No. 2 Medium
- 0.08 oz Benetint (rose)
- 0.08 oz High Beam (luminous pink)
- 0.08 oz Posietint (poppy pink)
- 0.08 oz Ooh La Lift
- 0.08 oz Stay Don't Stray
- 0.25 oz That Gal
- 0.25 oz The Porefessional
- 0.1 oz Bella Bamba (watermelon pink)

After trying the products out. I conclude that with daily usage, a product can last up to two weeks max. Not too shabby for getting a lot for your buck, and you get to try everything before committing to a full sized product.

My favorites are the tints! Posie tint, Benetint, and High Beam. They are the bomb! Sure people may say there are a lot of dupes out there. I was one of the doubters before. But after trying them out. They DO LAST the whole day. Unlike other tints that wear out. So they are really worth it.

Dandelion does not show up on me and the Erase Paste is sorta useless.

If you're familiar with the Dollar Store in the US or the 100 Yen Store in Japan or the 99 Peso Store in the Philippines. There's a similar shop which sells awesome Japanese goodies for 85PHP. Daiso! (Please do not be confused with Daiso and Japanese Home Depot, Daiso actually sells DAISO goods)
Click the image to enlarge

I knew they had a branch in Robinson's Galleria which is too far from me and Ive only been to once or twice. But the other day I was surprised that they opened a store in Robinson's Manila at Padre Faura Wing Ground Floor. Oh, it's more organized and has more stuff available!

Here are the things I got:

  • Ever Bilena Cheek Cream
  • Brow Setter - coool! really sets the brow liner in place!
  • Eyeliner Setter - Makes all liners, and even eyeshadows waterproof
  • Eyelash Glue - One of the best I tried
  • False Eyelashes - Good quality and very natural looking, they also have lashes for the more extreme
  • Duo Black and White Eyeliner
  • Mini brow liner - so cute it's tiny and it works

Besides cosmetics, they also have toiletries, food, kitchenware, and a whole lot more. It's so fun to shop there and best part is, you get more than what you pay for ;) ;)

It sucks really. My baby boy got sick around 5x this year with the same thing over and over. Bacterial infection due to eating stuff he picks up everywhere. I mean we do keep an eye on him but sometimes he's way too fast he gets away with it.
So im taking him to the doctor today. I hope my manager understands why I have to skip work today. *sigh*
Heres his pic drinking yakult with his cousin

Update: Realized I overlooked the fact that paper bags cant hold up moist goods and harm more trees, thanks to the concerned commenters :) and I actually own a couple of envirosax I use for shopping

If you haven't noticed yet. Those reusable "eco" bags is becoming a fast trend and new status symbol for those faux environmentally concerned individuals OR companies looking for more profit by joining in.
These bags are usually made of nylon, cotton, or thicker plastic material meant for multiple usage
versus the plastic shopping bags.
Are you really concerned about the environment? Or youre just joining because it's "hip"

Oh, and speaking of plastic bags, have you noticed SM uses this really flimsy white plastic they call a bag so that people will be FORCED to bring their own or purchase their reusable bags.

Imagine if more and more companies make their own "eco" bag and people will get one of each just for the sake, and FYI I dont even see people actually use them! Well, maybe a few. But I rarely notice people
who bring their reusable bags in place of the plastic ones. Heck I even noticed people bringing their
"eco" bags and then still requesting for more plastic.

Yes yes, haters will always hate; and Im one of those haters; If they wanted to be more eco-friendly, people should actually use the eco bags for shopping

The world will be a better place if companies would actually show REAL and GENUINE concern over the environment with tree planting projects or clean the Manila Bay area or Pasig River instead of joining the "ECO" bag bandwagon.

Share your thoughts with me and everyone else :D Leave a comment
If you've been a long time follower of KikaysiKat way way back, when it was When Chic Hits the Pan; You would know that whenever it comes to hair treatments like rebonding, cuts, or other things my hubby comes to act as my guinea pig for testing. Hehehe.

Bubble dyes are slowly penetrating the Philippine market with brands such as Etude House coming out with bubble foam hair colors and also pre-orders for Prettia Foam Dye. I got this out of a whim to see if they really are easier to use than conventional hair color mixes. Oh, and Seeing the foam reminds me of fluffy marshmallows ^_^;

The instructions they provided are quite clear

This is hubby's hair before

Looks like something yummy to drink eh? Like a frap :D

This is hubby's hair while dying
Well my comments are it's quite messy to use, the bubble actually falls down on the floor and wherever. Hubby also told me the formula stings his scalp. The only thing I like about this dye is the fun it gives when Im shaking the cup :P

Here's hubby's hair after dying. See any changes? I think so too... This might be the last time we'll use bubbly foam hair colors and stick to regular ones in the future.

There's a super duper slight brownish tint.

The best way to beat a gloomy weather like today is to spruce your outfit with something bright and happy.
These cuties are just 99php each at a shop located 3rd floor near the foodcourt at 168 shopping mall divisoria.
Oh and did you know when I was in Singapore, some shops sell exactly the same clothes you see at divisoria for 5x the price? We're a bit lucky clothes are affordable here if you know where to look.

Have you been to divisoria? What do you like to buy there? Have a bright Tuesday folks! ^_^

Are you one of those people who's on the brink of giving up in using eyeliners, eyeshadows, and mascara because of severe oily lids? X-tine, an officemate of mine kept on telling me she doesn't use liners and as they just melt on her so quickly, that she used a lot of brands already but kept on fading away. It challenged me to look for a liner that would meet her match. The K-Palette 24H Real Lasting Eyeliner 1 Day Tattoo seemed perfect. It gained a lot of good reviews online and I guess it's finally time to try it out on the worst kinds of environment; such as the oiliest of lids. Oh, and the tattoo part of its name got me!

It's available in Watson's SG and also

The brush it has is really finely tipped perfect for precise application

Here it is on my lid, after 8 hours, without primer.

  • Thin precise brush
  • Really lasts like a tattoo, through sweat, through tears, this liner will stay
  • Does not stick to the lash curler, unlike other liquid eyeliners that even when dried out, sticks to your curler upon curling

  • It's not readily available in stores in the Philippines
  • We don't know the exact amount left upon using
  • Can only be used on the upper lids, please dont use in your waterline
  • Looking dry? Give your eyeliner pen a shake, just like when your shaking your nail polish to heat up and put more product on the tip. Point downwards!
  • Leave to dry for 30 seconds before curling your lashes or putting mascara to make sure it stays
  • Cheaper alternative? Try Aido or Nichido's liquid eyeliner.
  • The perfect mascara to pair this with is Imju Fiberwig Paint on Lashes for that super waterproof tearproof sweatproof day :)

I recommend it to gals who want an eyeliner that lasts. It's perfect for the Ulzzang Makeup that requires heavy application of eyeliner. I havent tried other pen liners except for ELF that dried on me in less than a day. Oh, and my friend X-tine loved it on her when I tried it on she wanted to get my pen! :P

Although I find their tea a bit watered down compared to Simple Line`s. Their tea is miles better than other brands available.
The popular ones are the okinawa (brown sugar) and the hokkaido (caramel) but my all time fave is the jasmine milk tea with pearls at 75% Some people shy away from this type of tea because it has very strong floral notes that linger in every sip. But I find it as one if the most relaxing types of tea. They recently opened a new shop at Rada Makati hooray! There are a lot of other variants of tea at serenitea, what is your favorite?

Just a quick feature on this simple but effective face powder. The Clean and Clear Oil Control powder.
I have this one in "Light" but it barely has color. It really soaks up and control the oil for me that makes me require less touchups throughout the day. It has a surprisingly good sponge too that's soft to touch and bounces on skin. The active ingredient is titanium dioxide and zinc oxide which also helps reduce redness and calms skin and other inflamation.

I recently lost my powder to my baby boy because he threw it over the stairs. There's another nice thing about this powder. It's cheap that it didnt break my heart when it got broken to pieces. Costs around 110PHP with compact and refill. Oh, and did you know it's also refillable?

I so <3 this powder and will purchase another one today. :)

A pleasant Thursday to everyone! I'm so so so so super duper excited to share this sorta "magical" foundation to all of you. To summarize this product, it gives you flawless looking skin, without covering you up. If you're acne prone, you would still have those marks and blemishes and freckles if you use this foundation alone, but your skin would still look good. Like naturally good. My hubby absolutely loves this on me, because he hates me, wearing makeup that is unnatural. Actually I think guys in general dont like women who are too made up. But guys don't know that those "natural beauties" put on their share of makeup as well but it's more of an effort to look effortless.

It comes in a classy, and generous 30ml frosted glass pump bottle

Although my review to the other foundation of Koh Gen Do, the Moisture Foundation, was not so pleasant. This Aqua Foundation of theirs is amazing! It gives you that skin that japanese women and korean women have in an instant. It's so good you can wear it alone and it wouldnt look odd. Unlike other foundations that you need to be fully made up. This is your skin at its best. Oh, did I mention it has a lot of skin benefits, non comedogenic and hypoallergenic as well? Perfect. Read further below for more details, before and after pictures, and a detailed review.

Aqua Foundation

1.01 fl oz / 30ml SPF 15 PA++
We have combined the best of skincare and color to create our Aqua Foundation. A skincare-based foundation that fully moisturizes the skin as it smoothes and covers imperfections.
Sheer HD Radiance starts with the Purest of Waters
Aqua Foundation is made with the deep sea waters of Rausu, Japan.
It balances the conditions of ions on the skin surface with rich minerals and nutrients.
These minerals are close in composition of the human body which makes it easier to absorb and moisturize efficiently.
The Perfect Ratio for Lustrous Coverage
True ‘luster’ can only be seen on skin that is brimming with moisture. We achieved the proper balance of moisture to bring you this truly lustrous look. The golden ratio of 45% water, 35% emollients, and 20% powder combined for the perfect balance.Too much moisture does not provide coverage. Our goal was to create a beautiful lustrous skin with a translucent finish with enough coverage, even throughout the long, harsh film shots.
Eliminate Imperfections with Light Diffusion
The effective use of light is crucial for a beautiful skin. Especially uneven surfaces that cannot be covered with makeup are mostly erased by light effects. We focused on the unique Strobe Illuminator formula with RGB Powder Technology.
Silicons and polarizing pearl pigments used in makeup emit light that are unnatural. In the studios when shooting, this will create shades of pores. Covering your skin surface with a film of light will bring you the natural translucent look.
The RGB Powder Technology uses the effect of the RGB color model (additive primary color model). Having this effect, in other words covering your skin with this thin translucent layer, will minimize pores and imperfections for that satin-smooth skin… under any light.

Features of Key Ingredients

First, we take deep-sea water from the Ohotsuku Sea near Rausu, Japan. It dwells 3000 to 5000 meters below the sea's surface where sun rays cannot reach and normal seawater does not blend in. When the pure sea water freezes, minerals and nutrients are condensed. The mineral-rich composition produces a high water absorption rate and superior moisturizing effects for dry skin.White Birch Sap harvested only three weeks in early spring. White birch sap contains an abundance of minerals and xylitol.
Essential Emollient Oil
To retain skin's moisture provided by the special waters, we have added three natural emollients.
Jojoba Seed Oil - Natural oil extracted from jojoba seeds to soften and protect skin.
Olive Squalane - Natural oil extracted from olive berries to soften skin and retain moisture.
Shea Butter - Natural oil extract from the seeds of the shea tree, softens skin and retains moisture. The combination of water and finely refined oil creates a perfect balance for a smooth foundation application.
RGB Powder
When three primary colors, Red, Green, and Blue powder particles are combined, they create a light curtain to give skin a beautiful translucent effect. Brightens and lightens dull areas with fresh-looking color. The RGB powder strobe effect easily camouflages pores and hard-to-cover imperfections. Magically, this special powder produces a never-before-seen translucency.

Texture is fluid, but not too fluid that it slides off, it's glides very well

I wonder if this deal is true or their bags are original? Seems to good to be true because their price for the large long handled is even cheaper than in Europe.

What do you think?

:) Thank you hubby for sponsoring my purchases! Teehee.. Can't wait to try everything and review them for you guys. The skinfood BB mushroom cream is a gift from Cindy my officemate :D

Can you name them all? Kidding!

My haul on my purple pilates mat

I went all around different stores but ended up buying more at SaSa and Watson's. Lots of cosmetics my eyes were oggling all over. I wanted to buy EVERYTHING. But I stuck with essentials that I'm sure I would use. Not much blushers or eyeshadows here because I still have lots.

Haul List:

  1. K-Palette 24 Hour Pen Liner in Black - 2 pieces. I got one at first but it was too awesome not to buy a backup.
  2. Shiseido Eyelash Curler
  3. Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil Fresh
  4. Skinfood Mushroom BB Cream - Oh, this one's 516PHP from Korea. Talk about MARKUP! *roll eyes*
  5. Kate Eyeshadow Palette
  6. Canmake Highlighter in White
  7. Canmake Lip Concealer
  8. Canmake Blusher Duo
  9. Soap and Glory Arch of Triumph - You know that brows are very important! I tried this at sephora and it was love at first trial. I got this because it's pencil too. Pencils are one of the cosmetics that have the longest lifespan.
  10. Urban Decay Naked Liners Set
  11. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy
  12. Benefit Eyebright
  13. Sasatine Mascara - It clumps to the highest of levels. SUCKS! Dont buy!
  14. Imju Fiberwig Macara - An all time fave, my 3rd tube already. But my sis in law gave me another one so this will be a backup.
  15. Bronson Tourmaline Mini Iron - I got it because it was so tiny, light, and PINK
  16. Random Sasa Facemasks to give away to friends :)
I can't wait to post each individually! And give feedback because these are so so so so good (except for the sasatine)

Oh, and have I mentioned it always rains in SG when I come visit? Here's me at Singapore Zoo.. drenched. :D but still had a good time!

Have a happy Wednesday peeps!

Howdy folks! Nope I'm not dead yet.. luckily.. but I've been recently bombarded with office work that I'm backlogged with writing reviews. Oh, and the photos of the product backlog will be posted tomorrow. You will be shocked! O_O Anyway, here's the much awaited review on the Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation

Instructions on how to apply

Nice ingredients.

Too busy to even watermark! *sob*
Yey its in a small convinient squeeze tube

has very moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, vitamin e, and aloe
feels like a light moisturizer and is absorbed quickly
looks like regular skin in real life
its matte
very photogenic
paraben free
fragrance free

its very expensive, retails at around 2800PHP
there are similar products that can give the same effect but with a cheaper price tag
lacks coverage
settles on fine lines
not long lasting, lasts 3 hours tops

I would recommend this to girls who have good skin already oh and to those who have lots of moolah :O
This is more like a tinted moisturizer than a foundation. Some people like this product, especially from the US area, I'm not sure why. Maybe because of their
cooler climate?

I have to be honest with my reviews and even if I got this for free, sadly i will not buy this.
The amount you get for its price does not justify the amount you will use and how long it stays on your skin. I highly recommend their aqua foundation. The review of that wonderful, wonderful product is a different story, on a different post. I've been tweeting about Koh Gen Doh aqua foundation ever since I brought it to Singapore as my default foundation since hubby loves natural korean-like skin. (Yes, it can be achieved with Koh Gen Do's Aqua Foundation)

Missing you guys, and I so so so so super duper wish I can update this blog again EVERYDAY!
