List of Diet Delivery Services in Metro Manila – UPDATED April 2016

BEST DIET DELIVERY in Metro Manila

UPDATE: FACT: A wire was found in a very sub-par diet delivery service from Plan:Eat
tsk tsk tsk may this serve as a warning. Avoid Plan Eat Delivery at all costs. This is my opinion ha (http://www.kikaysikat.com/2016/02/plan-eat-diet-delivery-review-must-read.html)

I’m just like you. I’m your regular office person who works on a 9-5 job in the city. Before the boom of the diet delivery industry here in manila, I ate at different places; jollijeep, carenderia, fast food, restaurants. I do not have the time of day to have my meals cooked at home as much as I wanted to. It’s just not about weight loss. It’s about having healthy meals delivered to me daily. Convenience.

I reviewed  A LOT throughout the years. I may not be as huge as When In Manila (I’m a contributor there! Heehee) but I to give everyone honest to goodness feedback on these services to help YOU DECIDE which to get. Cheers and good luck!

For the macronutrient split (proportion of fat vs carbs vs protein) as long as it is from a healthy source and it is high in protein, with a good balance of fat and carbs it’s good for me.

#1 Delicious Diet
  1. Macro Nutrient Content ☆☆☆☆☆
  2. Calorie Allowance ☆☆☆
  3. Taste ☆☆☆☆☆
  4. Customer Service/Timeliness ☆☆☆☆☆
  5. Price ☆☆☆☆☆
I only made them kulit to count the macro calories for me because they focus on healthy eating with a healthy mindset. Their usual calorie allowance is 1,200 (not enough for me) but good enough for starters especially those who want to lose weight. If you plan to eat 1,200 for 5 days, eat more during weekends so you won’t deprive yourself too much. They deliver fast and during conveniently during mornings. They’re not called delicious diet albeit their meals really taste good.
Details on their service are written below. You can also use the search function on your browser (CTRL+F)

*I will update this list as often as possible

I did a bit of research on the available Diet Delivery Services around Metro Manila, check out their menu, pricings, etc and list them all here. If I missed anything, please let me know so I can include it here!

Metro Manila (They’re from Marikina)
Damage
1,750/5days + 50php delivery per day

While their meals are definitely high in protein, and they are one of the more affordable delivery service out there. I wasn’t really satisfied. Read my full review for details. Oh and they heavily use cilantro in almost all of their meals.

DIET BUDDY PH

What they promise
Balanced filipino dishes in 1,200 calories
Where they deliver
Metro Manila

What I think
Meals that taste like home. If you’re too lazy to prepare your baon and you are longing for home cooked goodness that won’t add on to your bilbil, this is pretty good. If you’re a super active person like I am, we need more calories than the basic 1,200

THE SIX PACK CHEF

What they promise
High protein, low carb meals that are deliciously prepared by a chef
Where they deliver
Metro Manila
Damage
3,500/5 days + delivery fee *shock*
What I think
His meals look delicious I must admit. Every time I see his facebook feed I always wish I could eat them everyday. However,  3,500/week is too much and some people (like me LOL) cannot afford it. I wish he comes up with an affordable version of his meals without sacrificing the taste.

What they promise
1200 calories a day with a boost of chia seeds! Free delivery! Delicious!
Where they deliver

Damage
 1799php/5 days
What I think
Besides Gourmet Guys, these guys seem to make their food appetizing and not feel like you’re on a diet. Too bad they only deliver at QC, Cainta, Eastwood, Pasig, Ortigas, and Cubao. Very limited delivery areas.

PALEO MANILA

What they promise
A 100% Paleo Diet, Gluten-Free, Caveman, High Protein, Healthy, Clean
Where they deliver
Metro Manila
Damage

What I think
Gosh I want to try this so bad but it’s so freaking expensive. But I WILL I WILL, I will probably try this for a week next year, yes I’ll spend but at least I’ll know. You can do paleo yourself too but it’s just to freaking hard to always ask “is this paleo?” They’re also creative with their food names and very flashy too. They hired a very good graphic designer.

What they promise
Affordable custom diets that won’t make your wallet cry
Where they deliver
Metro Manila Areas (QC, Ortigas, Manila, Makati)
Damage
2,000php/week
What I think
I never felt deprived with their service. Sure it costs a bit more than most of your diet delivery services at 2,000php/week but they do consider not making you starve at the same time.

 GOURMET GUYS

What they promise
They promise effective weight loss without sacrificing good taste. They also customize their diets according to their clients’ need and not just a general generic 1200 calorie meal plan.
Where they deliver
Metro Manila Areas (QC, Ortigas, Manila, Makati)
Damage
4,475/5 days (Holy crap that’s expensive!)
What I think
I’m not happy with the amount, taste, and everything 🙁 but they have excellent customer service as well. But it’s really too expensive the quality of the food is not the same as when I first tried it.

DIET DIVA

What they promise
Our principle is simple: portion-control & calorie counting. We

snacks, all amounting to 1200 calories aday!
Current Diet Diva clients lost weight–2lbs to 6lbs–5 days into the program.
Where they deliver
P20 QUEZON CITY*, SAN JUAN*, ORTIGAS CENTER, MANDALUYONG & MAKATI. (*Selected Locations)
P40 Commonwealth, Marcos Highway, Bonifacio Global City
Damage
 1800php/5 days
What I think
I actually tried Diet Diva for 2 weeks and for a weekly diet this is not so bad. However, their selection of food and snacks sometimes disappoint me. Because there are days they deliver me Quaker Oats or Skyflakes which I can buy on my own. Sort of a turn-off.

Do remember that our body is 70% diet and 30% exercise. Don’t forget to exercise! Not just to “lose weight” but to keep our muscles intact and strong. Lift lift lift!
