Celeteque Anti-Aging Kit and my Grandpa

I'll be straight, and forward. Again, no "palabok" or hullabaloos. :) I had the opportunity to attend the event of celeteque's
anti-aging line. Unfortunately, I am unable to leave office. To my dearest readers, I want you to know that I am a nerdy-techy-systems-specialist (computer geeky stuff)
by day, and a beauty afficionado by night, and lastly, a 24/7 mom. Whew! So yup, I wasnt able to go and let my proxy, ate mimi to come on my behalf.
Long story short. I only got the box of goodies when she returned. Hehehe..

I'll be honest to Celeteque, and my readers. I won't be using this line. I have another line that I'm so excited to use and
show to you..

BUT! a big BUT! There's another one who's willing to be my spokesperson and tester for Celeteque's anti-aging line.
None other than my... beloved lolo!

Profile:
Age: 79
Career: Super-lolo

He's the one who took care of all us his apos and he's the one taking care of my baby boy, with the help of my grandma) He and my grandma loves to take care of their skin and they're very conscious about their appearance. When I told him about the kit I received, he was so estatic and willing to be my model. We're going to have a weekly photoshoot to show the progress and starting this week, he consistently uses the cleansing oil, moisturizer, and serum twice a day.Well, there's a celeteque promise of looking years younger in 6 weeks, so we'll see.

Both of us can't wait for his results!!

Cheers!

TO my lolo: I know you can't read this, but I want to tell everyone in the world that you're the BEST BEST BEST BEST
BEST LOLO EVER. (I HAVE THE BEST LOLA TOO!)

PS to Celeteque: I think it would be better if the ingredients are listed on the product labels, I was planning to read the ingredients and interpret it to my readers but alas, there was none :(

Review: Celeteque Moisturizer (great for hot summer days! and nights!)

I've always been on a lookout for a simple, no-fuss moisturizer that does what it's supposed to do and nothing else. Moisturize. With all the gunk I put on my face daily, I dont need a dose of ingredients that I dont even know, even the "anti-aging" ingredients or "whitening" ingredients that my skin doesnt really need.

Our skin is always thirsty. Even during cold dry days, and even on hot summer days, it craves for moisture. Most people I know think that moisturizer is only needed by peeps who have dry skin, but oily skin needs the same amount of care. When skin does not get enough moisture, it makes up by producing more sebum, thus, oily skin.

As written at the right side of my blog, I have a combination skin, oily t-zone, dry cheeks, and redness.

Celeteque Moisturizer is water based. It's ingredients are wonderful such as aloe, panthenol, and yes even the infamous dimethicone (so those who are looking for a silicon-free moisturizer this is not the one for you)

Dimethicone acts as a barrier and shield between skin, moisturizer, and other layers of gunk you plan to put on your face, thus making celeteque an excellent makeup base.

It feels so light and watery to apply, very refreshing!

What I Like

  • It feels so light, like nothing at all
  • It has simple ingredients, nothing more.
  • Does not make my skin oilier
  • Moisturizes! It makes my skin glow the day after if I slather it on at night
  • Ive been using it for 2 weeks now and no breakouts so far
  • Cheap!!!!

What I Don't Like

  • No SPF, but hey, I use a different sunblock anyway :p

Who will I recommend this to?

This is a great summer moisturizer, preferably to those with normal, oily, combo skin. I think drier skin types would need moisturizer power.

Will I repurchase?

Yes. Yes. Yes.
