Baguio Day Tour Itinerary on a Budget

It was our first year anniversary, and also the anniversary of our pals that we decided to go on an impromptu Baguio trip to celebrate this oh so wonderful event! With limited budget we went and just google-d our way on how to go about. Read on for photos and our experience
The bus going to Baguio is super cold even colder than Baguio itself. Come prepared and bring your jackets, shawls, beanies, and even a blanket to keep you warm during your trip. Wear something comfortable too!

For starters we had a boring breakfast at jolibee when we arrived at the baguio.  Then head on to people’s park to stroll because checkin in our hotel (gosh I couldn’t recall the name)  was 2pm pa

We took a boat ride for an hour and had a massage from a blind man.  We were supposed to go roller skating but due to overnight travel we were so tired and sleepy na

don’t bother to go ukay ukay shopping,  ill tell you why at the end of my posr

A korean dinner at Wood Nymph restaurant was the best I had!  A samgyeopsal with unlimited side dish only cost 250php and everything was fresh and delicious

If you want some indie artsy ambiance,  head on to Oh My Gulay.  It’d on top of an old building and you wouldn’t believe such a magnificent structure exists inside a decapetated building.
There are musical and art performances at night too.  Oh,  the Baguio city life.

Baguio Budget Day Tour Itinerary

  • Bus Fare – Aircon Regular – 450php each – 900php
  • Jeepney/Taxi Fares (Cabs are cheap in Baguio!) 250php
  • Wood Nymph Restaurant Dinner – 600php
  • Oh My Gulay Coffee – 100php
  • People’s Park Boat Ride – 100php for 4
  • Blind Massage – 75php
  • Bus Fare Going Home – 450php each – 900php

There are plenty of things to do in Baguio! Like the Tree Top adventure and the horse backriding sessions, ghost hunting and more! But with the limited amount of time we had and to be honest we didn’t come prepared, I felt a slight regret not maximizing and making the most of our Baguio trip, maybe on our next adventure we’ll do better! Baguio seems different now from what I recall when I was young.  It’s no different than Metro Manila nadin, except for the cool climate.
PS
UKAY UKAY IN BAGUIO ARE SO NOT WORTH IT  heck I saw t-shirts sold pricier than brand new ones at the store! Sellers there probably think “Oh hey, it’s baguio, our ukay branded things are special so we’ll mark the price up” 2nd hand chuck taylors go as high as 2,500/pair, the regular ones. WTF MAN?! They’re only 1,850 BRAND NEW. IN STORE.
Okay *rage over* till next time! See you when I see you!
