[Video+Thoughts] Real Women Photoshopped to Look Like Cover Girls

There comes a time when a woman sometimes feel unpretty, lack self-confidence, or has a lot she wishes to change on how she looks. Although most of the time I always want to feel my best and feel beautiful everyday, there are days when you look in the mirror and see all the imperfections who want to change. I do not want to be hypocritical as much as I am a huge fan of makeup. But I think they are to enhance than to really change our features. They give an extra boost of confidence. I chanced upon this video on youtube and hit it me. It hit me a lot. How nice it would feel to just be comfortable in our own skin and people appreciating for who we are and not what we look like. But we live in a world where people are strongly influenced by what they see on media. Those who set standards on what is beautiful or what is not.

John and I had a conversation a few days ago on how people perceive others physically. How do we see ourselves in front of the mirror? Is it the same as how other people see us? A thought came to mind that each person’s eyes view us differently. John may see me look this way but another friend may see me in another light. That is why the cliche saying; “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”

To anyone who’s reading this. You are beautiful. Always remember that.
