Sharp Philippines recently showcased its latest innovations during its “In Step With Your Future” Media Conference and Dealers’ Appreciation Night held at Solaire Resort North last May 20, 2026.
The Japanese brand introduced three dedicated booths featuring its current products, newly launched lineup, and future concepts that may eventually reach the Philippine market. The event also marked the introduction of Sharp’s new slogan, “In Step With Your Future,” replacing its long-running “Be Original” tagline.
According to Sharp Philippines President and General Manager Masahiro Akiyoshi, the new direction reflects the company’s focus on creating products that respond to real-life needs.

“It reflects our commitment to look beyond technology and focus on real life — to understand the challenges people are facing today and to offer solutions one step ahead of time. Sharp will continue to deliver products that make everyday life better,” he said.
One thing I noticed during the walkthrough was how Sharp focused less on flashy concepts and more on practical features people would actually use at home. From cooling appliances to entertainment products, most of the lineup was centered on comfort, convenience, and energy efficiency.
The first booth highlighted Sharp’s current lineup of home appliances and electronics, including televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, air purifiers, and audio products already available in the market.
Meanwhile, the second booth introduced upcoming products set to launch locally over the next few months.
Among the highlights was the new AQUOS TV lineup, including the AQUOS JJ5000X Series with 4K Google TV, Dolby Audio, and 120Hz High Refresh Mode. Sharp is also bringing back larger screen sizes, including an 85-inch model as AQUOS celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
The brand also showcased its newer QLED and XLED TVs designed for more immersive viewing and gaming experiences, with features like Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and refresh rates reaching up to 144Hz.
For audio, Sharp introduced its retro-inspired CS-Series speakers with karaoke functions, Bluetooth connectivity, and a wooden cabinet design. A larger tower speaker system, the TS-2010P-BK, was also presented for home entertainment setups.
Beyond entertainment, Sharp also revealed updates to its appliance lineup.
New refrigerators now come with larger Mega Freezer capacities, while its washing machines feature improved inverter technology and Direct Drive Motors designed for quieter and more efficient operation.
One appliance that caught a lot of attention during the event was the new Sharp air conditioner lineup, particularly the AH-XP10DHF model. It includes features like AIoT connectivity, Super Jet Mode for faster cooling, and humidity optimization for improved comfort.
Sharp also introduced the FX-S82 air purifier with AIoT functionality and a modern Purefit design for larger spaces.
The third booth offered a glimpse into future concepts and technologies that Sharp may eventually introduce locally depending on market demand. These products were previously showcased at international tech exhibitions such as CEATEC in Japan.
“Customers should choose value, not just price, because Sharp delivers value through health, comfort, energy savings, and enjoyment,” Akiyoshi added.
Sharp has been operating in the Philippines since 1982 and continues to expand its lineup while adapting to the changing needs of Filipino households.
The event ended with Sharp reaffirming its commitment to developing products designed to make everyday life more comfortable, practical, and connected for Filipino consumers.
