HONOR Magic V6 Arrives in the Philippines: A Slim Foldable With a Big Battery and AI Smarts

Foldable phones have come a long way from being just fancy gadgets that fold in half. HONOR is taking things a step further with the new HONOR Magic V6, which officially launched in the Philippines on August 24.

The latest flagship foldable brings together a slim design, a large battery, flagship-level performance and a collection of AI features designed to make everyday tasks a little easier.

Slim, but built to take on everyday use

One of the biggest challenges with foldable phones is finding the balance between making them slim enough to carry comfortably while still giving them the durability expected from a flagship device.

The HONOR Magic V6 comes with an HONOR Anti-Scratch NanoCrystal Shield and Super Steel Hinge, along with IP68 and IP69 certifications for added protection against dust and water.

Inside is a 6,660mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery, which is quite a lot of battery for a foldable phone. It supports 80W wired and 66W wireless HONOR SuperCharge, so users can spend more time using the phone and less time looking for an outlet.

Performance comes from the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform, designed to handle everything from everyday multitasking to gaming and other demanding apps.

A camera setup for everyday creators

For anyone who treats their phone as their everyday camera, the Magic V6 comes with the HONOR AI Falcon Camera System.

It combines a 50MP wide main camera, a 64MP ultra-clear telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. AI-powered imaging features are also included to help with photography and content creation.

That combination should give users plenty of flexibility, whether they’re taking quick family photos, shooting food for Instagram or capturing travel moments.

AI features beyond the camera

The Magic V6 also runs on MagicOS 10, bringing several AI-powered tools into the phone.

These include HONOR Multiflex, AI Meeting Agent and AI Translate, which are designed to help with multitasking, meetings and translation. The phone also supports connectivity with Apple devices, making it easier for users who move between different devices throughout the day.

At the Philippine launch, guests were able to get hands-on with the Magic V6 and try out its foldable design, camera system, AI features and other flagship capabilities.
