My Pink Sugar Eye Candy All-Day Eyeliner Review & Wear Test!

One of my makeup staples is a good, long-lasting eyeliner. Wearing it on your upper lash line can instantly make you look younger and your eyes brighter.  My old favorite Urban Decay has finally dried and died and it’s up and time to find a replacement. It’s been a while and I’ve tried a lot. From high-end, mid-range, to the affordable ones like EB cosmetics. But none has satisfied me until Pink Sugar’s Eye Candy All Day Eyeliner (price: srp 249php) came into my life. Read my full review and see it perform in water & rub test!

Pink Sugar’s Eye Candy All Day Eyeliner Review & Wear Test

Slim, sleek and light twist-up packaging. The cap is secure too as it stays snapped and closed even with my wobbly makeup kit. The pigment is super matte black which I love! It only takes one smooth glide to produce a sharp black line. Depends on how you use it; you can wear it thick, thin or in-between.

Water and Smudge Test

Now I’ve been using EB’s new eye define eyepencil before I bought this one. But I told myself I had to wait until I get another eyeliner before I do a wear test so I can do a comparison. So here it is! How do they fare?

What I love:

• Super black
• Creamy and glides easy
• Smudge-proof
• Waterproof
• Long Lasting (until I take it off with makeup remover!)

What Could Be Improved:

• While it is a twist-up pencil that doesn’t require sharpening. Sometimes I press to hard that it breaks and lose the sharp tip. Maybe a built-in sharpener in the future? I see some eye pencils from other brands have that.

Final Thoughts

Upon reviewing this eye pencil, I’m actually about to run out. Guess what I’m repurchasing? This one of course! It’s crazy affordable with a quality comparable to expensive eye liners! (works even better!). Do not that I do not have oily skin. I have a normal/combination skin. If you have extra sebum, I suggest setting it also with a translucent powder.
