Marikina has always been one of the more popular areas for food crawls. There are a lot of restaurants that can satisfy any craving. One fine day, after a heavy workout, I was craving for a huge piece of steak. Thick, juicy, and mouth-watering. It was the perfect timing that Beeffalo by Hot Rocks invited me to try their restaurant thanks to Annick 🙂
They have an outdoor dining area that’s well-light during the night and you can see the steaks grilling.
Beeffalo by Hot Rocks emits a cozy comfort food ambiance.
It’s visited by people around the neighborhood or even a stranger like myself (who came all the way from Tondo!)
Beeffalo by Hot Rocks Menu and Pricelist
They have a wide variety of dishes to offer. But of course their specialty are their steaks.
You should be surprised! You can have a filling dinner for 2 for less than a thousand bucks with their 250gram steak that just costs 395php
Annick and I ordered a simple Margheritta Pizza (245php). It reminds me of those classic brick oven pizza that doesn’t have a lot of toppings but the flavor really packs a punch. It is served on a thin crust with just the right amount of crisp for texture. The tomatoes are fresh too.
Their Beeffalo Wings (195php) is one of my favorites. I prefer the spicy variant than the sweet. It’s tangy and really hot! I like it that way. The spice lingers longer on your tongue further enhancing your appetite.
Annick ordered the Seafood Pasta (230php) I wasn’t able to taste this but the pasta looks Al dente and has an ample amount of meat on it.
Last but not the least (of course! It’s the star of their menu!) the T-Bone Steak (355php/250grams)
I did note that I wanted my steak medium well but I got it well done instead. Nevertheless it was still pretty tender. They serve it with yummy mashed potatoes with a side of their homemade BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce is not too sweet, not too tangy. It’s just right for a bit of drizzling on top as their steak is simply seasoned with salt and pepper (IMO how you must serve steak. Simple) It’s a lot and I devoured everything.
My always futile attempts at a good flatlay. I’m in love with their Cucumber Lemonade (95php/bottomless). It’s unique to the palette and the cucumber mellows down the sharpness of the lemon. Ugh make sure you get the bottomless of this one when you visit!
My “first” plate. I tried to eat a little bit of everything but ended up eating everything. Hohoho.
Try their Coffee Creme Brulee for dessert. It’s the perfect way to end your meal. It’s light, not too sweet and the coffee hits the spot.
Will I come back? Yes yes and yes. Do visit Beeffalo by Hot Rocks if you’re planning to dine in Marikina. Visit their https://www.facebook.com/beeffalo.marikina?fref=tshttps://www.facebook.com/beeffalo.marikina?fref=tsas they post promos and give-aways occassionaly!
