REVIEW: EYE OF HORUS BIO LIPSTICK IN VENUS PINK – Perfect for Baby Lips
Most of the lipsticks I own are either nudes, muaves, or reds. I barely touch pink lip colors because most shades tend to look garish on me. Sometimes weird. Maybe because of my light neutral complexion with olive undertones. Some pinks even make my skin look oddly yellow. I barely purchase pinks so when Eye of Horus launched their Bio Lipsticks I received the shade in Venus Pink. I was eyeing to get the Plum but I didn’t know it was first-come first-serve so all the shades ran out and I was left with pink instead.
It was a fortunate circumstance because Eye of Horus Bio Lipstick in Venus Pink became one of the most flattering shade of pink lippie I own. Continue reading for the full review, photos, and swatches.

REVIEW: EYE OF HORUS BIO LIPSTICK IN VENUS PINK
Packaging – It’s in a recycled cardboard packaging but feels sturdy and secure
Coverage – Medium opacity. You can layer if you want more pigment, and even mix and match with other colors.
Texture – Lusciously creamy and kept my lips soft. It did not make my lips chap or flake while wearing it.
Scent – I did not detect any scent
Longevity – It’s not long wearing since it’s a creamy lipstick, but I don’t mind re-applying this one as it’s comfortable to wear. BUT it does leave a nice stain even after eating or drinking.
Transferability – It transfers when eating or drinking. Just like anything else that’s not meant to be long-wearing.
Final Thoughts – Here’s another photo of me wearing Eye of Horus Bio Lipstick in Venus Pink on our #BloggerBabesXmasMeet. This lipstick is currently a semi-permanent resident on my makeup kit. It instantly brightens my face with just using it alone. It’s a perfect baby pink that blends well with my lip color and skin tone. If you have a similar skin tone as I have, you won’t regret getting this lip color! You can check out their other shades too because the formula is something to fall in love with. Very creamy and moisturizing.
