We’re now in the golden age of social media when we can see travels, shopping sprees, gifts, etc. Seemingly perfect bonds and  envious lives of people with a quick scroll through our social feed. I’m as guilty as you are — no matter how much I want to always be happy when great things happen to others, it can be tough not to weigh our lives against theirs.

They say that comparison is the thief of all joy. So what can we do? Besides the usual advice of being thankful for what we have. Let’s be real. What you don’t see won’t matter. We’re only human. I muted a whole bunch of people on my instagram feed. Especially those that posts that have no value at all.
