Beauty on a Budget: Fashion 21 Eyeshadow Palette Review
Finding the right eyeshadow palette that is also affordable is a challenge. My mantra in life is this. You can spend your paycheck on luxury base makeup, blush, and skincare, but when it comes to little things you can definitely scrimp. We should be a smart spender. We know that drugstore makeup is just as good (or at times, better) than the luxury products. The biggest challenge is finding out which palettes are worth buying.

I didn’t use any mascara or eyeliner to showcase the eyeshadow. Of course we can’t forget the brows. So I used Fashion 21’a cake eyeshadow powder, and topped it off with their gel so it sets budge-proof.

Packaging – Each palette contains 5 shades separated in each stripe. The size of the stripe is good enough for your eyeshadow brush or your finger to get the product. It doesn’t have a built-in mirror and applicator.
Pigmentation – Based on the swatches you can see above. Each color has a decent amount of color pay-off. One or two swipes is enough.
Staying Power – Used without a primer, the shadows last for 4 hours before it starts to crease.
Shade/Finish – Shades 1, 2, and 4 have a satin finish. Shade 3 has both color and glitter. Shade 5 is a deep satin brown with less shimmer than the former shades. Making it the perfect eye shadow to use as contour or lining.
Texture – It has a silky smooth texture that delivers color in one swipe.
Final Thoughts – WOW. All colors can be mixed and match making it a wonderful palette for everyday use. For work, school, dates and even a night out. Best part is, it’s affordable! It also comes in other sets of colors, it’s so cheap you can buy everything without making your wallet cry! Such a steal.

I rarely apply eyeshadow this past year. I still have three palettes, slightly used lang 🙂 tsaka hindi ko rin kase kaya mag-mix ng eyeshadow. Try as I might and kahit ilang YT vids pa panoorin ko, hindi ko magawa! Lol. Pero for the ladies na mahilig at marunong nito, this is a must but. Mura na, super pigmented pa.
