CANMAKE Highlighter and Shading Powder Review

Hay nako, this is long overdue. My favorite highlighter and bronzing powder that I use ALWAYS and keep in my kikay kit everywhere. People also have been asking what highlighter I use because it looks natural. Would you believe it’s just this basic white powder from Canmake? Keep it as a secret but I had these 2 powders for more than 2 years na Hohohohoho. It’s unsanitary I KNOW but it still works great and it doesn’t give me pimples or irritation so why throw it away? I feel bad if I throw it away. Are you guilty of keeping makeup longer than their shelf life?

I bought this in Singapore and I don’t know how much it costs in the Philippines but I’m guessing it’s around 695php (correct me sisters if I’m wrong)

Why do I like Canmake Highlighter?

It’s colored white, it can suit ANY skintone if used with a proper hand and right amount. It also adapts with you skin thru time. Apply it and you will say parang wala lang but after an hour or so, BOOM. GLOW.

Why do I like Canmake Shading Powder?

The Canmake Shading Powder has a matte bronze shade with NO shimmer. It’s the perfect contour powder for me. The color is not too warm not too cool and can suit many many undertones.

What’s not to like with Canmake Highlighter and Canmake Shading Powder?

The flimsy packaging, the small size which requires me to swirl my brush like crazy.

Will I buy again?

If I run out? Yes definitely, but I’m very much open to trying other highlighting and contouring products out in the market because it’s the next best thing to facial surgery.
