Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner (Review,Photos,Swatch)

What? Dolly Wink Pencil Eyeliner
Where to Buy?  I bought mine at Landmark Trinoma!
How much does it cost? Around 695php? More or less!
One of the makeup products I cannot live without is a good pencil eyeliner. That’s why I’m always on the lookout for the best. After years and years of trying out different brands of eyeliner, it’s the first time that I actually repurchased something. What is it? It’s the popular Japanese makeup brand Dolly Wink. This is my second time buying the product.

Dolly Wink’s pencil eyeliner comes in 2 basic shades. Black and Brown. The reason why I like pencil eyeliners compared to gel and liquids is that it looks more natural. Natural is always better.

It comes in beautiful shades of pastel pink and pastel purple. Enclosed in a black and brown cap respectively. The cap becomes a bit loose so make sure to close it real tight to avoid making a mess in your makeup bag. It’s easy to sharpen and the lead is tough enough to withstand a pencil sharpener without breaking.

Pigment and Staying Power

Though the packaging doesn’t claim it to be waterproof and smudgeproof, I noticed that it does. Black is a pure matte black which I love. It glides easily on my lids without tugging too! The brown is a natural shade of dark brown that’s perfect for the undereyes to make you look more “tisay”. It lasts a good 12 hours on me without smudging and with minimal fading. It’s comparable to Urban Decay’s 24/7 Eyeliner (or even better)

Tips and Tricks

  • Watch out for the cap! Sometimes it gets loose so make sure you close it tight to avoid the mess
  • Line on your upper lids to make you look younger. Line your lower lids to make you look sultrier.
  • Set pencil liners with transparent finishing powder so it lasts the whole day and prevent oily eyelids

Will I Re-purchase?

A no brainer answer. I already did and I will over and over. I’m glad Dolly Wink products are available na here in the Philippines.
