Jonah’s Shake Boracay is DELICIOUS

A lot of people are saying that if you go to Boracay.. You must at least try a shake or two from Jonah’s Fruit Shakes. ย They have the line “The Best Shake in the Island”.

So is it?

Judging from my son’s reaction; they must be really good. But, it’s my first time for my baby boy to drink shakes so his reaction is bias. The amount of fruit in the drink is generous as well as the milk. The ice is finely crushed so the texture is nice smooth and milky. I found the shake lacking in sweetness so I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. So health conscious folks would be happier knowing the drinks are not too sweet for their diet. But hey, milk shakes are sinful already so why not make the most out of it and put the right amount of syrup! Hahaha!

Sorry I was not able to take photos of the menu and drinks they serve; besides the wide assortment of fruit shakes and blends (costs around 100-180 pesos, the strawberry most expensive. They also serve a lot of food from different kinds like italian style pasta, american style breakfast, mexican tacos with a twist (my fave! it’s cooked and it has bean sprouts), crispy pata, chicken wings, and a whole lot more.

They serve good food. Period. I was not expecting much from their food at first but boy was I pleasantly gastronomically surprised! (LoL @ myself trying to include a big word). Everything we ordered tasted soooooooo yummy and well seasoned. I got chicken wings and it’s one of the best I ate.
So will we come back here? For sure! ๐Ÿ™‚ :)The crispy pata (deep fried pork thigh; another sinful filipino dish) was hard to bite so I’m not recommending that one.
