Last month, my good friend Eman De Leon makeup-artist extraordinaire sent me a few Kate by Kanebo products to check-out and review. The Kate Cover Concealer for COVER in NB (ang redundant lang LOL) was first up because I was suffering from acne scars caused by Glutaberry Whitening Soap. We all know acne doesn’t disappear overnight so on emergency days a reliable heavy duty concealer is a must. I will also give you a super 4-second trick on how to conceal your pimples flawlessly. I also think this is a great under eye concealer for those pesky dark undereye circles and eyebags.

It is a high coverage, highly- adhesive cream concealer designed to conceal dark marks, visible pores, blemishes, and dark circles. Infused with water- soluble Collagen extracts to care for the skin. It comes in two shades only: LB and NB (Light Beige, Natural Beige)
They’re so many! Haha bit I do see the soluble collagen that the promise!
It’s sleek, small, light and handy. It comes in a pot so make sure your fingers or brushes are clean prior to using it to avoid contamination. Honestly speaking, I’m lazy to sanitize my hands so I just dip it in whether it’s spick and span clean or dirty.
Swatch & Texture
It’s thick, high coverage, adheres well and yes it’s a concealer that can cover tattoos
How to Apply Concealer on Pimples
Step 1: Dip your pointy finger in the concealer pot
Step 2: Apply by area, don’t mind if it’s too thick we’re going to blend later
Step 3: Blend outside in using a tap-tap motion. It will produce a soft focus effect on the surrounding area making the concealing flawless.
Price – It belongs to the mid-end range of products of Kanebo catering to the younger crowd like you and me. (Push mo pa Kaycee)
Packaging – It’s small, compact and can fit your purse. It’s handy to bring anywhere in case of emergency but….
Staying Power – You can opt to leave the pot at home because this baby lasts forever! It holds true to it claims! I find that it’s also a cheaper alternative to Cinema Secrets Concealer since it can cover even my tattoo.
Color Match – Sadly, it only comes in 2 shades. So not everyone would find a match with them. I’m using NB and it fits my skin just right.
Texture – It’s thick and needs good rub and warmth so it will be easier to blend
Scent – It’s fragrance-free
Will I re-purchase? I think so! I’m a fan of Japanese cosmetics because of the premium quality!
Who do I recommend this to? To someone who’s suffering from pesky pimples and want a long lasting concealer that performs as it claims!

3 – Boringly Bleh. Not good. Not bad. It’s like… nothing…so I’ll just give it away.
4 – Wow. Amazeballs. It’s super effective! I’ll keep this in my stash for sure until I find something better.
5 – It’s irreplaceable! *ala Beyonce* (disclaimer:unless it gets discontinued boohoo)
