Maxipeel Exfoliant Soap Review

 

What I like about this soap is that it has a fresh fragrance that can be used by both men and women. Most soaps have a feminine scent to them like fruits or floral while this one smells like a freshly bathed person (grass/floral?)

If you also check out the ingredients list above, it has less of the fillers like sodium laurel sulfate but has natural ones. The active ingredient here for exfoliating is the sodium lactate and salicylic acid. Both of which are excellent in preventing blackheads and clogged pores. It’s not harsh to be used on the face so it can also be used as your facial wash.

For whitening, it’s active ingredient is niacinamide.  This is also the active ingredient in most whitening face cream from Pond’s or Olay. Niacinamide is vitamin B3 which is great to slowing down pigment growth. You can read more details on my article on Pond’s Whitening Face Cream.

It also has small gentle beads that is very enjoyable to feel in every bath. No need to use for mitts or loofah. After bathing you feel very clean and exfoliated instantly. I highly recommend using a good moisturizer afterwards since this is what the soap is lacking.
