Myth Busters: Eye Drops for Acne Redness
I know ladies here have heard of this “tip”
Using any red eyedrops to your pimple to make the redness temporarily disappear.
I found a bottle of eyemo eyedrops and also for making my eyeshadows last longer or make it as a liquid eyeliner and decided to try it on my fresh fresh fresh acne.
Did it work? Hell no. It stayed the same. The zit is still red. Not even a shade lighter. I even gave it a chance and let it stay for more than an hour, and then applied again.
Still no change. The nifty old concealer did the job.
How about you guys? Have you tried this “beauty tip”? Did it work for you?

Regular eye drops contain a vasoconstrictor so blood vessels in the eyes are reduced. This is not the same as contact lens solutions as they only contain a lubricant to keep our lenses moist. HTH.

I used regular eyedrops (which I use for my contacts) 🙂 will edit my post sorry for the confusion! Thanks nikkiz!

It has to be the Erythromycin eye oint (paste) instead of regular eye drop. I bought my from a Chinese drug store. It helped me a lot with the really swollen kind pimples (the kind that hurts a lot and takes forever to pop)
This paste has anti-inflammation agents, I think that's why it works.
The red package one is the one I bought (only $1) I know, the package looks really crappy, but it works.

Here is a fancier packaged one, but it's really the same thing…

Hope this helps! The DIY Yakult Mask you posted is really interesting, I will be sure to try it out 🙂
