OOTD: Pulling Off Print over Print and Personal Musings

Even if I love to dress up, and as much as I love to post more OOTDs I rarely do so because of my photographer scarcity. Either I rely on mirror selfies, ask my boyfriend when we’re together, or risk my phone/camera to a random person on the streets to take my photo (and phone LOL). I’m considering combining my Personal Musings with my OOTDs so that the outfits makes sense no? I mentioned this dilemma the last time I had an OOTD during P&G’s Everyday Me event which was held at Manila Peninsula. Who takes photos of all those fashion bloggers?

Luckily I dropped by the blog of Sarah, of Fashion Eggplant. She mentioned that most fashion bloggers take photos of each other. So that explains the great shots! I am her silent follower and visit her blog ocassionaly because of her effortless style. She retains to stand out yet fit in at the same time. Unlike most “fashion” bloggers nowadays who are wearing the same thing and having similar outfits. Tell me, sige fashionista na kayo, but one thing is for sure. Styleย is something innate. You can wear the trendiest and the latest but having a great sense of style is something you’re born with (or with tutelage of stylists). Unique.

Wabi Sabi Vegetarian Restaurant
Last week we ate at a really good vegatarian restaurant at The Collective Makati called Wabi Sabi they serve Pho, Ramen, Cua Pao, Siopaos and more at an affordable prices and it’s so delicious you wouldn’t think it’s vegetarian. They have this special veggie crackers that tastes like pork chicharon I wonder if it was fried in pork lard LOL. I felt sad when they said they only allow 1 order of the crackers per table. Huhu. The Collective is also filled with artsy shops and graffiti painted walls. I thought of asking my friend April to take photos of my OOTD since the lighting that day was so good too!

Gosh thanks for April for taking my OOTD photo!

I can say that my style is carefree. As long as I feel comfortable in what I wear and it looks good for the occasion I go for it. There are days when I could get arrested by the fashion police but I wouldn’t care less. the flounce top that I bought from Cash and Carry was long overdue to be worn. I bought it 2 years ago and haven’t worn it because I haven’t found the perfect bottom to pair it with, until this day.

This will be the last time we’ll be seeing my bare back. I recently got a lovely and kikay tattoo last Sunday (posted it on my ig:kikaysikat). Farewell my fluffy and furry back.

The one tied to my waist is actually a leopard print kimono cover up from Cotton On that I got from Singapore 3 years ago. It’s a favorite of mine! I think it goes well with the tribal print pajamasย from Tomato.ย

I’m wearing slippers from Ipanema since we had to walk from the office to Malugay St. Imagine the pain of wearing heels!
