The nail salon started out in a small space in Greenhills in 2014, when owner and president Nica Resurrecion found herself going to three different salons just to achieve the right look for the design she wanted. Pretty soon, Extraordinail gained a cult following for its famed acrylic nail art as well as regular and gel mani-padi services. The salon also specializes in skin care using advanced equipment and premium products, including the gluta-drip and luxe facial treatments. The Greenhills branch has since moved to a bigger location, and a Tomas Morato branch opened the following year.

Now, Extraordinail Salon & Skin Care has a franchise branch in Nuvali, due to popular demand of nail art enthusiasts in the Laguna area. In celebration of their third branch, actress and artist Heart Evangelista was present to do the ribbon-cutting at the 90-sqm salon. Heart is Extraordinail’s brand ambassador and an avid fan of their nail acrylics, which she frequently posts about.

Also at the opening of Extraordinail Nuvali were select influencers/beauty and lifestyle bloggers and members of the media, who were invited to experience what makes this nail and skin care salon extraordinary.

Nica explains that to ensure that her beauty and nail specialists are always in their element as they work on clients, the tasks are delegated. “I have someone who does all the cleaning, someone to apply extensions, and someone who specializes in nail art. This way, the nail art technician is not tired from working on the nail basics and is therefore more creative,” she says, adding that her team undergoes comprehensive training and receives constant updates on new products. “This ensures that our service quality is always excellent.”

Some clients come from as far as Baguio or Batangas. “I’ve even had customers flying in from Cebu to avail of our services. The demand from these clients gave me the idea for my mobile nail salon,” Nica explains, “so they would not have to travel far. We will now be able to go to them.”

The mobile pampering experience in the Philippines, Luxury on Wheels is designed for busy folks to enjoy a mobile pampering experience without the hassle of visiting the salon. The air-conditioned bus is decked in customized modern interiors, equipped with CCTV security cameras, WiFi, an HD TV, and high-quality sound system.

The ultra-comfy seating can accommodate five clients at a time. With that much leg room, you can stretch out in a plush reclining chair and request for a neck massage. If you get the munchies while having your nails done, the bus offers snacks, wines, pastas, and sandwiches upon request. The bus is also available for special occasions such as a spa party for birthday celebrations or bridal showers.  All you have to do is call for an appointment and have a parking space ready!
