Tutorial: Yakult & Mung Bean Mask

THIS PAGE IS BROKEN. I WILL UPDATE THIS SOON

GO TO THIS LINK FOR THE READABLE  YAKULT MASK

Most of my readers requested a step by step tutorial with measurements and pictures on how to make the “Yakult Mask”. Here you go *wink*.

For more information on the wonderful effects of the Yakult Mask
Ingredients:
  • Yakult (or any lactobacillus drink)
  • Mung Bean Powder (I used Mung Bean Mask from Kuan Yuan bought from sasa.com)
Process:

Use around a tablespoon of mung bean starch
Mix everything into a paste and apply on your face just like a mask.
Wait until it is dry, just like this, like a thin film is on your face O_O
Rinse off with water, and water only! 🙂
Instant Effect: Skin brightening, acne drying
Long Term Effect:: Pore size appearance reduced, redness minimizing, acne gone! 🙂 Glowy skin!
Hope this helps! Thank you so much!

hi locke, you can use mung bean powder, or crushed mung beans

hi koko, im not sure about sensitive skin, i have high cosmetics tolerance so im brave to try anything. try it on the back of your arm first if no irritation happens.

    thanks!

You should remove the the pore minimizing part, it's not true, pores cannot/will not be minimized only the appearance can be reduced.

do i have to wash my face first before applying? and would you know if it's effective just using yakult? i don't know where to buy mung bean locally.

  • Reply admnkikaysikat March 23, 2010 at 5:35 am

Yup! Please do apply this on a clean face.

I tried using yakult only before and it also gave effects, but I think its more effective with the combination of the mung bean.

you wash it with cold or warm water?

  • Reply admnkikaysikat March 24, 2010 at 3:46 am

  • Reply amandahhs November 10, 2010 at 11:54 am

  • Reply Anonymous February 23, 2011 at 7:31 pm

How long did you use it? And after how long do the marks dissapear

I substituted sugar instead of mung bean powder. I hope its okay. I've been trying it for a 2 weeks now and it works amazing. With sugar, its more of a scrub on my face to wash off then.
