What’s In My MakeUp Bag 2015 Edition – I Know You’re Curious!

We had an exchange gift in our company for a Christmas party and I guess my teammate knew what I really needed. (He’s also a blogger by the way! Do checkout http://runningpinoy.wordpress.com ) and got me this HUGE make-up bag from Suesh. It was sturdy, transparent and has a lot of compartments. Though I have to admit, the space wasn’t enough! Maybe I need a cosmetic luggage next time?

I’m not a make-up artist, but I do love make-up so much I try to get the best products and best colors that I could use for myself. I’m sure you’re as excited as I am to see what’s inside! Sometimes I also don’t remember what products I have and get surprised. I tell myself “Uy meron pala ko nyan? Get ready for a lengthy post!

STAPLES and ESSENTIALS

I always have a good sunblock, eyebrow powder, and contour powder wherever. I bring it everywhere so these 3 is always in my bag! Not just the make-up bag but every time I go out!
My favorite before was Canmake’s highlight and bronzer but it got expired so I had to purchase another one. The Sculptaculous palette from Happy Skin Cosmetics is a new favorite and I can’t wait to share my review with you guys soon.
The BELO Sunspray is my all-time favorite because of the hassle-free spray application and it’s not sticky.
The In2It brow powder is an unsung hero, I use it every time I put on makeup because it has 3 different powder shades to make your eyebrows perfect. (An eyebrow tutorial soon! A lot of you have been asking how I make my brows)

TOOLS, BRUSHES, AND EXTRAS

I have my favorites from Real Techniques, ELF, and random brushes from Bare Essentials and BYS.
The best selling eyelash curler from Shu Uemura that I have for YEARS. I just buy Fanny Serrano eyelash curler pads as replacement, Works just as well and a whole lot cheaper.
Duo eyelash glue and my Taiwan Eyelashes staple.

FACE AND BASE MAKEUP

For the mornings, I use something BB Creams or CC Creams with SPF like Shiseido, Skin79 BB Cream or Laneige BB Cushion.
If I’m going out at night and want to make sure my face is photo ready, I use base makeup that has NO SPF so you won’t have the ugly ghost white cast. My favorites are Bare Minerals and Naturactor that I finish with BYS HD Microfinish Powder

BLUSH-ONS

I have a collection of blushers from different brands. I don’t judge! I have some from Ever Bilena, Happy Skin, Covergirl, Chanel, MAC, NARS, Careline, Bourjois, and Sleek!

EYE SHADOWS EYELINERS AND MASCARAS

I’m only starting to fully utilize eyeshadows this year and invested in a LORAC Pro Palette. I’ve always been a fan of Sleek Cosmetics so I also got their Garden of Eden palette which has luscious shades of greens and purples.
For eyeliners and mascara, Japanese brands such as Majolica Majorca, K-Palette, and Dolly Wink are a staple. I’m a firm believer that Japanese Cosmetics make the best eyeliners and mascaras ever. They won’t budge!
For local brands, In2IT has a good gel pencil eyeliner!

LIPPIES

I sort my lippies by 3s. Reds, Peach/MLBB/Nude, and Pinks

My favorite red lipstick,  and probably the only one I’ll be keeping for life is MAC Ruby Woo

I don’t have a favorite pink lippie yet,  and my favorite nude is Makeup Forever’s MaT 2

CONTACT LENSES

If I want to look extra special, I put on contact lenses as a final touch. Freshlook is my staple brand for lenses because theirs is the most comfortable and natural looking.

There ya go peeps! Whew! That was looooong! Looking forward to more makeup purchases and gifts (ehem ehem) this year! Reactions to this post? Do we have the same products? Leave a comment below!
