I’m a certified makeup addict. I love everything about makeups even if I’m not a makeup expert. Honestly, I can’t event blend eyeshadow properly, but that doesn’t stop me for appreciating makeups. One of my favourite makeup products are lipsticks. Before the famous, “Kilay is life!” tagline, lipsticks ruled the makeup world. Just like what Coco Chanel said, “If you’re sad, add more lipstick and attack.”

On to our review! Today is all about Colour Collection: High Definition Iconic Matte Lipsticks. Miss Kaycee of The Macho Mom was generous enough to send me three lovely shades of these lipsticks.

REVIEW

I received three shades namely It Girl, Runway Ready, and Vintage Glam. I’m not familiar with colors (I have mild color blindness) nor undertones, but I can describe their shades when I swatched them.

As you can see, Vintage Glam has a combination of pink and neutral colors. Perfect for everyday use. It Girl on the other hand is red. I like wearing red because it creates an impression that I’m a fierce person (LOL) and Runway Ready is a purple or plum lipstick. Wearing it made me feel like a vampire. Dark and mysterious air fills me.

The formulation is good. It’s matte but not drying. Easy to swipe and remove. The lipstick is not water proof or food proof as some may call. But a little touch up here and there is not bad.
