Mabuhay! It’s time for another Mama and Baba adventure. This time, macho kid and I visit the charming islands of Bohol, Philippines! We went there last November 2018 and I only had the time of day to write our adventure this month. If you’d like the nitty gritty details of our travel, do check out my supplementary posts linked below. This is our realistic Bohol budget and itinerary for 2 adults and 1 kid.
FAMILY FRIENDLY BOHOL TRAVEL BUDGET & ITINERARY
- Airfare – 13,669.05
- Hotel – 7,500
- Activities – 3,950
- Transportation – 5,000
- Food – 3,500 more or less
- Total – 33,649.05 pesos (talagang may butal pa eh no? HAHAHA)
This is a realistic budget of someone like me who isn’t fond of planning or saving as much $$$ as possible.
Cebu Pacific and Air Asia Tickets to Bohol Via Traveloka
For our airfare, we didn’t book from a promo fare. It costs us a total of 13,669.05 for round trip tickets from MNL-TAGBILARAN via Traveloka. We both experienced riding Air Asia and Cebu Pacific.
Our trip was non-eventful and smooth flying. We were even 20 minutes ahead of schedule!
Bohol Bee Farm
We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights in Bohol Bee Farm. They had a free tour included + buffet breakfast for only 7,500php all-in.
- Chocolate Hills – 50php/head
- Butterfly Habitat – 50php/head
- Wildlife Eco Park – 150php/head
- Loboc River Cruise – 550php/adult 250php/kids 4ft and below
- Island Hopping – 600php/head (group rate, with other people)
I’d say 4 out of 5 spots are worth it. You can skip the Butterfly Habitat because there aren’t that many butterflies for you to see. Check out more photos below but I highly recommend visiting my detailed post on our adventure.

Visiting Bohol was worth every peso spent. It’s one of the cleanest provinces we’ve visited. The sand is as fine and white, comparable to Boracay. People are friendly and food is SUPERB. I must admit if I spend more time planning, I’d get to save more $$$. But the crammer in me went for spontaneity instead.
