I was contemplating if I should write a separate entry for what I am feeling right now, aka Personal Musings or inject these thoughts together with my reviews and features on my blog. I realized a blog entry filled with technical details and opinions on a certain product might be useful, but without soul. I have been writing empty shells for the past few weeks and it is only now that I realized it. Maybe it’s also the reason why I’m getting lazy to get up my feet and write the way I usually do. Candid. Comic. Creative.
So here’s what, I’ll try to infuse soul into my writings. ALL of them. If I get lost again along the way, you will notice it so if you may do so, remind me “Hey Kaycee, you’re writing empty shells again!”
Before I forget, you’re here for my Gluta White and Firm Soap Review am I right or am I right? Let’s start!
Whenever I’m in a drugstore or department store, I like scouting for new things to try. Last year (yes last year pa itong photo na to and review overdue) the red packaging enticed me to take a closer look. Oooh, a “firming” soap as well as whitening (do not judge! some want to be tan some like to be fair, just like how some wants to be straight, bi, trans, and anything they want to be)Effective ba? Gusto ko ba? Magugustuhan nyo kaya?
Gluta White and Firm Soap INGREDIENTS
Price – Around 60 pesos, the usual price for a skin lightening bar
Packaging – Striking red.
Texture – Like your ordinary bar of soap. Slippery. Produces enough lather. Parang safeguard. If exposed to water it becomes this squishy soap that I don’t like. This soap is not cold-pressed.. (ex. of cold pressed:
Mestiza Herbal Soap)
Scent – I don’t like the scent. I don’t like it at all. It smells like a man’ perfume, trying to be a woman, trying to be a man. In short, it’s very confusing. Sharp, strong, and hurts my olfactory nerves. Matapang. Hindi sya mabaho pero it’s not pleasing to the nose. I had to bare with the scent for 1 whole month just to see if its worth using despite the foul smell.
Does it work? NOPE
Will I buy again? NOPE
Final Thoughts – Sayang. Too bad ang ganda pa naman ng pagkakakuha ko ng picture! The soap is not worth it. The ingredients are promising, its claims even moreso, pero waley. No wonder, nasa top ng ingredients list ang “fragrance” and the active ingredients are at the bottom. This means one thing, the quality ingredients have less than 1% in the soap
Rating: 2/5
KikaySiKat Rating Scale Guide
1 – It should cease to exist on the planet.
2 – Troublesome. Caused negative reactions for me or made me feel bad.
3 – Boringly blah blah blah. Not good. Not bad. It’s like… nothing…so I’ll just give it away to someone who might like it more than I do.
4 – Wow. Amazeballs. It’s super effective! I’ll keep this in my stash for sure until I find something better.
5 – It’s irreplaceable! *ala Beyonce* (disclaimer:unless it gets discontinued boohoo)

I feel you Ms. Kat. I won last month a Gluta White and Firm Products (set of soap, lotion, toner, deodorant, facial cleanser) I only use the lotion and soap, I just give the others to my friend. I notice that there has no changes in my skin color (I prefer Silka for the lotion). Nakaubos na ako ng malaking lotion but doesn’t change.
