Japanese Hair Dye Review – Beauty Labo N9 Natural Blonde

Change. It’s something inevitable. We can choose to change, but there are times we are left with no choice at all. Changing our hair is usually within our control. We, women sometimes trim it off or cut it to different styles when we experience something drastic in our lives or we’re just bored! 🙂 How often  do you change your hair style? I cannot last 2 months without doing something different with my hair, whether cut, color, straighten or curl. When it comes to hair coloring I like it DIY
Last weekend, thanks to SM’s #GlamDollSM event last Saturday, I was given a couple of Hair Dye’s from BeautyLabo along with other Japanese Cosmetics Brands now available at their Beauty Department (finally!) and it was perfect timing because I was really thinking about changing my hair color. If you observe the photo below, my roots have already grown out, and the dye of Palty’s Milk Tea Brown turned rust on me.

There were 2 dyes included, one was Dark Brown N4 while the other was Natural Blonde N9. I had a dilemma, go darker or go lighter? My little boy helped me decide. He told me “Mom you look scary with dark hair, like a witch” so yeah, he already got me with looked scary. Let’s go Natural Blond it is!
I was actually scared at first because the girl on the photo looked like she had really bright hair, and while searching for reviews, I found this photo of the girl who used the exact same BeautyLabo Hair Dye and it resulted to a corn-yellow blonde! I honestly think I’m a red-head deep inside.

Kikaysikat Tip: Wondering what Pond’s Beauty Pearl cream doing there? I use it to protect the sides of my face, and my ears. It works really well to protect it and prevent stains

What I Like About Beauty Labo Hair Color

  • It’s so easy to use. Just mix the 2 ingredients in the box, do some shaking and tada! Just spread on your hair like how you would shampoo
  • Its color blends to your natural one so don’t be afraid with lighter shades
  • The instruction included is very easy to understand
  • It’s affordable at 499php
  • It doesn’t dry hair as much. Look at the photos below, my hair is still shiny and looks healthy

What do you think about my new hair? Do you think it suit me or should I have just went darker?

I did expect the Natural Blonde would come out lighter and turn yellow or orange on me, but it ended up in a shade of red instead. Perhaps that is really my hair color if bleached? Hope the color lasts!

KikaysiKat Rating 5/5 Stars!

You can get the BeautyLabo Hair Dye for 499php and more at SM Beauty Section or at Watson’s Store
