LOVINGLY YOURS KAYCEE – Happy Girls Shine Brighter! Tarte Double Duty Beauty Palette
My age would be a dead giveaway by the series’ title. Are you familiar with Lovingly Yours Helen? A drama anthology show that ran in GMA-7 circa 80’s to early 90’s. Okay I’m old. It inspired me to come up with a blog series where I talk freely about a makeup product I’m loving lately and using on a daily basis. Written in free-form, rather than the usual review format. The first product that we’re featuring today is Tarte‘s Happy Girls Shine the Brightest Double Duty Beauty Palette
Tarte’s Happy Girls Shine the Brightest Double Duty Beauty Palette
Tarte Says… Eyeshadow and blush palette with six cool-toned shadows and a long wearing blush. All of them formulated with the same Amazonian Clay technology.
Limited-edition shades:
- date night (pale pink)
- messy bun (champagne gold)
- glam girl (rose gold)
- girl code (matte chocolate brown)
- posse (pearly pink)
- sweetie (matte black)
- live boldly (shimmering peach blush)
The Macho Mom Says… I travel a lot. If it isn’t obvious in my IG stories that I go through-and-fro Manila and Batangas to accommodate my work and live. I don’t have the expense of bringing my entire ensemble of makeup with me. Now this is the first time that I tried a micro-palette from Tarte. I did from other brands and quality seems to deem lower when they put their product in a smaller container. You can easily create numerous neutral looks and even a smokey eye.
Not Tarte. No no no. All of the eyeshadows and blush are buttery smooth. It has a great color pay-off and even with using my fingers alone, I can do a wide variety of looks as it blends like a dream. I think I’ll be getting more of these micro-palettes from Tarte and maybe The Balm? Do you know which brands have good quality tiny palettes as well? I think I’m addicted and want to collect! (OMG BAD! HAHAHA)
