Oh god. I’m so sorry for the lack of reviews and write-ups on the blog. I’ve been in a very dark place emotionally. It’s been a hodge podge of paid press releases and such because I wasn’t in the mood to “work“. With tons of ideas on my mind and products that I’m loving, I wanted to start once I felt my best. Because when I feel good, the output is good.  Speaking of darkness, today we’ll be reviewing a drugstore concealer perfect for covering dark circles as well as sadness (#hugot). According to Maybelline: It’s a super-concentrated treatment concealer that instantly erases dark circles and fine lines. Covers up fine lines, creases, and age spots in a swipe; improves the skin’s elasticity and tightens pores with goji berry and Haloxyl; has a built-in micro-corrector applicator that’s suitable for the delicate under-eye area; made with SPF 18 to protect the skin from sun damage.

Packaging – It’s neatly packaged in a pen tube with a round cushion tip for soft and precise application.

Coverage – Full. Really. The color is AMAZING. It’s orange-tinged making it perfect to color-correct the dark circles. One of my grips with other concealers is they tend to be ashy. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind looks so natural and covers the dark circles. Making it look like natural healthy skin.

Texture – It has a nice slip and quite a breeze to blend. Love that unlike other concealers, this requires no tugging. The perfect consistency for an undereye concealer. I dab a few spots on my under eye and eyelids, then pat to blend. It doesn’t dry up so it’s best to use a setting powder so it stays.

Scent – Fragrance-free

Longevity – After setting it with powder, this lasts on me the WHOLE day without retouching. It doesn’t crease, cake, or look unnatural. No lines too!

CONS:

• I notice that this seems to run out fast. My bottle is already half-empty after using it daily for 2 weeks.
