Mestiza Soap Review

Whoever formulated this herbal soap is a genius. Imagine combining 5 fruit and vegetable extracts which provides the most skin care benefits in one product. It’s cold pressed and has a virgin coconut oil base to boot! I first discovered this soap while browsing around the shelves of mercury drug store way way back in college. I have this thing of changing soaps once I finish a bar and then search for something I haven’t tried yet. Being a fan of whitening soaps, I was intrigued by all its claims and decided to see if the soap really does as it claims and you know what? It does. I keep on returning to this soap ever since. It has been my long time fave.

WHAT IS MESTIZA SOAP?
It’s supposed to be a whitening soap that has more benefits.

WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS OF MESTIZA SOAP?

Papaya extract: Provides skin whitening and moisturizing treatment
Carrot extract: Contains Vitamin A which reduces wrinkles and fine lines.
Banana extract: Smoothens out various skin problems
Virgin coconut oil: Effective in removing molds, bacteria, and virus on skin
Calamansi extract: Contains Vitamin C, valued for its skin toning properties
Also contains: Linseed oil, Sodium silicate, Lactic acid, Caustic soda water, preservatives, natural essence, EDTA, Moisturizers

IS MESTIZA SOAP EFFECTIVE?

Yes. It does as it claims. Although it doesn’t really whiten skin as in make your skin look milky white. It just cleans it well enough and includes exfoliation too. The carrot and banana extract helps keep your skin clear from acne. While the calamansi extract assists in deodorizing properties.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT MESTIZA SOAP
The fact that it’s all natural, cold processed, and very affordable.

WHAT I COULD BE IMPROVED

The smell. Well it’s either you like fragranced soaps or not but it’s basically fragrance free. Sometimes I look for a soap that smells light and fresh. Makes me feel more cleaner.

WILL I BUY AGAIN?
I still buy it again and again.

WHO DO I RECOMMEND THIS TO?
To those who have skin blemishes, acne problems, pimples, blackheads, whiteheads, rough skin, dull skin.

But if you really want to make your skin whiter and not just fairer, I suggest taking in supplements like vitamin C or Glutathione.
