OCM: Oil Cleansing Method and Guide
I’ve been silently doing this skincare for about 2 years now. I dont do 100% full oil cleansing method but occasionaly do this whenever I feel my pores are clogged and want to take a breather for a while.
I learned this from this website and it’s instant effects are amazing.
Why do I like oil cleansing method?
1. Feeling the bits of dirt, whiteheads, and blackheads being sucked out of your skin is gratifying.
2. My skin has turned from oily to normal
3. Less cloggage
It’s a hassle to do this daily, and I did it a bit differently. I use 70% sunflower oil with 30% castor oil and when Im lazy instead of rinsing it off with warm water, I just wipe off with wipes. (ack!) I rub it in for around 30 minutes to an hour max until I feel that my pores are really unclogged.
Here’s a useful guide to help you in choosing your base oils. Be wary of using comedogenic oils at it may do more harm to your skin than good. credits to Soap Nuts
