The last time I purchased Real Techniques brushes was 3 years ago at Sephora when I was deployed in the US for 3 months as a Business Analyst. I got their. My brushes are 3 years old and still works fabulously. Both the Real Techniques Blush Brush and Real Techniques Powder Brush never leave my kit (too much that I’m guilty of not washing them as often LOL). It came to a realization that I need to add more to my collection and with the my belief with “Less is More” make-up mantra, I needed brushes to do the job. Here comes the Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection.

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Collection Review

The Duo-Fiber Collection is an essential brush set designed for even makeup application that is easy to achieve. This set contains three limited-edition brushes that are great for blending and applying makeup smoothly. Crafted with synthetic taklon bristles, these tools are not only hypoallergenic, but also easy to use and clean.

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Face Brush

This is perfect when you don’t want to over-apply your setting powder. I love this with my RCMA coloreless powder. When using typical brushes, it just uses too much product. The duo fiber face brush picks up enough product and applies product evenly.

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Contour Brush

Same thing with bronzers. This one is fool proof. A contour brush to be used for highly pigmented bronzers or when you’re like me who’s too lazy to bake. Swipe this on your blush or bronzer and just sweep across. It picks up just enough you can apply color even without a mirror :p

 

Real Techniques Duo Fiber Eye Brush

I like to use this as my “highlighter” brush. To apply my favorite The Balm Mary Loumanizer under my eyebrows to make my eyes pop, under my chin (because I’m chinless LOL), and my nose bridge.

Final Thoughts

I love this brush collection to bits! The bristles are soft to touch, never scratchy yet grabs pigment very well. Each tip strategically positioned to give the results I’m looking for. It has the 3 brushes you’ll ever need for daily application. I wish it came with a “pouch” like their other brush sets but overall I’m pretty satisfied with Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Collection!
