Review: Genki Sushi BGC + Food Porn

It’s official. Genki Sushi in Bonifacio Global City Stopover (BGC) is now my favorite Japanese food joint. I’m quite particular with quality maki, sushi and sashimi but most of the time, they’re quite expensive and located in discreet places. When I saw my friend Helga’s timeline posting her sushi experience I immediately asked her where so I can visit. So I’m sharing you my experience, the menu, and the review.

I got the japanese cheesecake for dessert. I wasn’t too fond of it. I found the cheese too salty and tart.

REVIEW

Ay grabe, eating has never been this fun. Even when dining alone. You just press the buttons and ta-da! Served fresh and fast by their train-like tray. The place is also very clean and quite comfortable. It’s inviting, not intimidating at all. I’m particular with the rice and yes I’m relieved they use real japanese rice and japanese vinegar so the sushi melts on my tongue it’s so delicious.

They have a wide variety of dishes to offer; sushi, sashimi, maki, eggs, rolls, barbeque, grill, and even dessert. It feels, welcoming. Like telling me to “come back… come back for more sushi Kaycee” and yes I will. I will. Again and again.

I highly recommend Genki Sushi for every food lover.
