When it comes to reviewing cosmetics, I realized that it’s better if you right it fresh off after usage. Why? Because there’s still the rush and thrill of having new makeup! As an SEO enthusiast I’m sure this won’t land on the top page rankings. Why? Because there are numerous bloggers who’s reviewing their products already. My chances are meek. I’ll review this anyway because I LOVE IT. Happy Skin’s Feeling Sculptacular Face Contour Kit has been a staple of my kikay kit ever since I bought it. Let’s start with the review shall we?

 

Packaging

It comes in a sturdy cardboard box that’s very lightweight. Plus for the huge mirror and instructional cheatsheet that’s included inside. I must say this is very sturdy and durable even if it’s just cardboard (even the product inside) I dropped my kikay kit last week and my Sleek Eyeshadow Palette in Garden of Eden was crushed into pieces but this one remained intact! Wow.

What it says: Look ten pounds lighter with Happy Skin Feeling Sculptacular contouring kit! Featuring an easy-to-blend contour and highlighting powder, this sculpts the face, chisels the nose, and defines the cheeks achieving modelesque perfection. No surgery needed.

Kikaysikat Says: We don’t have perfect symmetrical faces. This is evident when we take photos and the lighting makes our faces look even flatter than they really are. This is where playing with the shadows come in. We can manipulate it so we look gorgeous in film and in real life. Add depth to where our face needs it, and expose what needs to be highlighted. This is the perfect product to use promise!

The special non-silicone contour kit contains Green Tea extract that is righ in caffeine, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, which helps increase circulation and reduce puffiness

How to Use: Tap an angled makeup brush onto the contour powder and sweep onto problem areas to make them recede. Use a different brush to apply the highlighting powder to bring out your features

Swatch

Both colors are actually sheer but pigmented at the same time. One swipe can reveal the color already. They can be adjusted according to skin tone. If you are fair, use the bronzer sparingly. If you’re morena, use the highlighter with a light hand.

Review

This is my second Happy Skin product and I’m sure this won’t be the last. They produce cosmetics that are so attractive, pigmented, long lasting, smooth, and with skin benefits too! Nothing but good words! The price justifies the quality.
  • Packaging – See details above. I love it! It’s 5 stars for me
  • Texture – It’s smooth and not chalky! Another 5 stars! It can also be layered according to your skin tone.
  • Pigment – Both colors can adapt to different skin tones, from morena chinita to fair.
  • Staying Power – Lasts a good 6 hours on me.
  • Price – A bit steep and it’s one of the pricier local brands.

    In fairness, may difference talaga sa before and after! I am not so good in contouring but I'm glad that this one comes with a cheat sheet. Perfect for make-up idiots like me. Lol.

    Ooooh.. Another great find and review! Loving the packaging too! I think since it's made from cardboard material, medyo may cushion-y effect compared to plastic palettes? I'm not sure what I'm talking about though. XD

    Anyway, I've only started contouring my face last year. Super annoyed na kasi ako sa asymmetrical cheekbones and jawlines ko. Haha! Will definitely be checking this out at Beauty Bar!

    In terms of taste and variety I prefer fit food manila 🙂
    Pero you know what? I recently subscribed to this new service, that has HIGH PROTEIN and hindi tinipid! And balanced ang macros, not just calorie counted na 1,200

    I'm starting next week, (even paid for my subscription).

    At one time when I was shopping at Trinoma I found out about a soap called "Bioderm germicidal/whitening soap" I notice that this soap was given the "heave-ho" by many consumers, being a guy myself its quite embarrassing to purchase a soap especially when ladies are at that section. I want to look attractive too! (Bioderm is actually like those common antibacterial soap we see in the market)

    Anyways this soap don't have any attention and were not given any limelight so I tried to purchase it, I was hesitant because it was my first time buying this kind of soap and it's relatively cheap. It was good, so good that my mom noticed how I looked different.
    The sad part was one day I can't see it anymore in the soap sections, I tried asking but it was out of stock, I reach for the manufacturers through email but I got no reply.

    I hope they give this product another go and I will buy a whole batch of bulks. "Can you help me reach them?"

    Thanks miss. Kikay. : ) Inistop ko na nga po yung ishi gluta advance e. I started reading your blog since my goal this year is pumuti ako. Because i have a morena type of skin. Then trinay ko po ung glupa lotion.. Pero nagtataka po ako. Hindi po ba talaga nadidisolve ung texture nya? Kapag inapply ko po sa balat ko kasi nag bubuo buo. Tapos parang dry skin pa lalo. Bakit po kaya? Gumagamit ako ng Uni kojic/gluta soap. Pls need some of your tips.. Thank you very much.

    Helpful post! Lets say I'm not trying to lose weight (I'm skinny) but I just wanted to maintain my weight and eat healthy (I've been relying on fast-food delivery)…. Which would be the best option?
