Hay naku! This has got to be the most intriguing product I have tried to date. I’m so excited I’m going to tell you this right now! Tama, wala ng bitin bitin. L’Oreal Tint Caresse is M-A-G-I-C-A-L. Magical. It claims to be a powder lip tint light as air, perfect coverage without the stickiness of most lip colors. This is the first time I heard of lip color as powder. I mean, how can powder adhere to our lips?! But you know what, L’Oreal performed and did as they claimed! What makes me a little bit sad is during the time I was purchasing this, almost all shades are out of stock. It literally flew of the makeup counters.

The product is actually contained in the cap. You dip the sponge here if you want to get more. Pretty ingenius IMO.  No mess. No spills!

L’Oreal Tint Caresse Swatches

Peony Blossom – I expected a more lilac shade with the name peony but it’s actually a MLBB red that looks like the translucent red shade that we’re familar of when it comes to tints.

Peach Blossom – I expected well; PEACH. But instead, it’s a bright cool-toned pink.

Both shades are sheer. It reminds me of the time I got a lip tattoo at Brow Haus, it’s a barely there tint.

L’Oreal Tint Caresse REVIEW

Packaging – It’s a beautiful gradient silver-color pen. With a sponge tip and cap applicator it’s very compact. It also looks nice when you retouch in the bathroom mirror LOL.
Staying Power – This baby is indeed transfer proof! The powder somehow melts on your lips and it adheres wonderful.
Shade – It comes in 8 shades, and I’m planning to collect all of it.
Texture/Finish – Light and airy; I barely noticed I have any lipstick on! L’Oreal Tint Caresse has that perfect sheer finish to cover the entire lips, or if you want to do gradient lips or ombre lips.
Scent – Fragrance Free
Will I re-purchase? YES
Final Thoughts – The first of its kind, L’Oreal did leaps away in giving us make-up of the future! A powder lipstick, imagine that! It delivers wonderful pigment, transfer-proof and affordable! It doesn’t feather, bleed, and applies evenly. While it is transfer-proof, you still need to re-apply if you’re a constant lip licker or after eating/drinking because it does fade when in contact with liquid. Hay this is HG material if you’re into those au naturale makeup like I am. This has become a favorite inside my kikay kit.
Rating: 5/5

1 – It should cease to exist on the planet.

3 – Boringly Bleh. Not good. Not bad. It’s like… nothing…so I’ll just give it away.
4 – Wow. Amazeballs. It’s super effective! I’ll keep this in my stash for sure until  I find something better.
5 – It’s irreplaceable! *ala Beyonce* (disclaimer:unless it gets discontinued boohoo)
