Before anything else, I can’t stress enough how much I’m in love with Pond’s Dewy Rose Gel as my night-time moisturizer for my face. It feels very much like those Korean night sleeping packs except this one is much cheaper and gives a rosy and dewy glow the longer you use it. You can see it’s effect in as little as 2 weeks. Enough about the gel and let’s talk about it’s partner. The Pond’s White Beauty Pearl Cleansing Gel.
Finally! They came up with the perfect partner to pair with our favorite dewy rose gel.

Random Chat: I told myself I won’t be writing any blogs today, but both my mind and hands were itching to write. As if it’s needed to be done. I was actually planning to relax by watching game walkthroughs of The Last of Us on YouTube. Do you guys know that game? How are you by the way?

INGREDIENTS

Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfat, Glycerin (keeps moisture!), Acrylates, Copolymer, Cocamidopropyl Betain, Cocamide MEA, Perfume, Sodium Chloride (cleanser! oxygenated!), Sodium Hydroxide (cleansing oxygen!), Tetrasodium EDTA, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3 for whitening), PPG-9, Hydrolized Pearl (whitening agent), Xanthan Gum, Lactic Acid, Potassium Sorbate.

WHAT THEY PROMISE

See the bubbles? Those are the oxygen. It smells really good too! Like fresh roses. I love love love the smell on my skin. However, it is not as foamy as other facial wash. It doesn’t make plenty of lather but that’s good. The lather was made up by scientists to make us feel that the soap is cleaning our skin. But actually, we don’t need the suds to cleanse the face. I guess that’s why Pond’s Pearl Cleansing Gel is perfect for sensitive skin. My full review and thoughts at the end of the post.

I was invited by Sample Room and Zalora on both launches of the product. Both require me to wear white. I prefer my OOTD on the Sample Room event where I had loads of fun with other beauty bloggers.

REVIEW

What I love about Pond’s products is that they’re backed with science. They’re not just some company who makes false claims about so and so without any proof. During the event they made a demo on how Pond’s Pearl Cleansing Gel is really gentle to our skin by dipping a special kind of paper. One on ordinary soap, and one with Pond’s the one with Pond’s didn’t get damaged. See photo below.
  • It cleanses really well. I know so because I tried to swipe some toner after washing my face and it ran through clean.
  • It doesn’t dry my skin. My face feels so soft and bouncy after washing. 
  • It smells so good!
  • It’s effective in helping achieve that rosy white glowy complexion. I was frustrated days before because I noticed how dry my skin has become. I’m super thankful that I got to try Pond’s Pearl Cleansing gel!
  • Perfect for sensitive skin. It cleanses ever so gently so you don’t need to worry. This is the perfect whitening facial wash for girls with sensitive skin.

NO FREAKING FILTER. I’m having red-eye during the time of this photo or was I teary eyed? Can you see how radiant and glowy my skin is. My usual problem now is that my skin gets dry all the time from using whitening soap bars. I’m addicted to using Pond’s Pearl Cleansing Gel because it cleans so well but it doesn’t leave my skin taut. Trust me, if ever I run out, I’ll buy a new tube all the time. (I was a fan of their charcoal whitening range before)

    hi miss kay.. im betzy, share ko lang din ung tinuro sakin ng friend ko nung high school,gumawa din sya ng whitening cream gamit ang hydrogen peroxide and white henna… sa tingin mo miss kay pag nilagyan ng white henna ung recipe mo maging maganda kaya ang result? tnx

    Thanks a lot for the reviews! Nice to have a lot of choices. I really need to lose some weight, so this is the most healthy way along with exercise. I did try Fitness Gourmet and Gourmet Guys (expensive but got a discounted voucher) and both were delicious – preferred Fitness Gourmet though because the portions were more filling than Gourmet Guys. I will try the others as well.

    Hi Miss K, i've been using the ishigaki premium for a week now then i developed 2 cystic acne on my chin (lumiit na din nmn) and i got rashes on my face as well (parang mga pantal na maliliit pero nawawala din nmn). Are these signs for me to stop using it or nasa phase ako ng "purging"? =)

    Hi, Kat! Thank you for the review. This was really helpful. One question though: Did you have to take Vitamin C supplements with these pills? Some gluta pills already contain Vit. C, but I read Ishi Premium's specs, and it's not one of those. Hope Yoi can shed some light on this. Thank you!

Nag-try ako ng SnowCaps because of you and I really like the outcome kasi naging makinis muka ko and mas naging maputi pa talaga ako.     Sa relumins, I got the "putla white"
    for Ishi Advanced I got "yellow white" for Ishi premium "normal white"

    How much is your budget? If it's tight, I reco, ishi premium, pero if you have budget MET is actually good!

    Hi Miss Kat. I trust you pag dating sa pag take ng gluta capsules. I am planning to buy ishi premium after holy week. First time ko pong mag t-take ng gluta and based sa lahat ng review mo about gluta caps e ishi yung maganda ang kaya ng budget. Maputi na ko pero gusto ko talaga pumantay kulay ko and pumuti ung extremities ko. Tanong ko lang po sa first bottle po kaya may difference na kong makikita? Legit din po kaya ung sa cheskasstore?     Sa vitapack sis mga 1 week lang kaso nagkaron ako ng mga pimples sa noo tapos sa may pisngi malalaki. Ung sa ishi kasi naging iba ung color ng base ng leeg ko parang naging yellow green.

    Sa vitapack kasi 1 week lang kaso nagkaron ako ng mga pimples sa noo na maliliit tus sa pisngi parang acne na talaga. Tapos sa ishi nmn ung base part ng leeg ko parang naging yello green.

    tried Ishigaki Premium,, on my 4th bottle.. di sya ganun ka-effective sa akin,, very minimal glow or natural glow lang ng balat ko yung nakikita ko. di pansinin yung effect nya gaya nung ibang nagamit ko.. sayang ang pera ko…

    Hi, you are my no. 1 blogger when it comes to glutathione reviews. I also venture the glutathione market but check first reviews such as yours before trying it. My 1st time use of ishigaki was a success but my 2nd bottle wasnt something that I expected.I turned dark so I immediately stop. Hay same seller naman ako pinagbilihan.     Strange Sa agelessbeautypotions ako bumili ng ishigaki but my 2nd and 3rd order of ishigaki , made my skin dark. My friend tried it too, same bottle that I used,she turned dark too. Now, we are back to.zero.

    Talaga sis? Geez.. thanks for this. I actually stopped taking Ishi na since 3 months ago. I'm taking snow caps as of now. Hanggang July na lang contract ng agelessbeautypotion sa banner sa taas, naka 1 yr kasi sya. Hindi ko na lang irerenew. Sayang credibility ng blog ko.

    I couldn't agree more,, ano kayang Gluta ang nilagay nila(?).. M just finishing my last bottle,, naka 4 ako,, wala ni katiting na glow kumapit sa akin,, unlike dun sa ibang brand na nasubukan ko.

    I dont think ishigaki makes you dark,its all in your mind.maybe you just want the result fast.there is no research telling that glutahione makes the skin dark..its the sun exposure makes the skin dark

    I dont know Catherine. I stopped using Ishi na nga (as seen on the top of my posts) I heard bad things about it na so I stopped taking it na idn and updated my post..

    You can google "kikaysikat best glutathione" to see more brands and reviews I made. I always keep them updated. Hiyangan kasi talaga

    Hi Good Day! because of your blog, I decided to give Ishi a try but it's too late na coz i bought Ishi Advance instead of Ishi Premium. Ngaun ko lang kasi talaga nabasa ng buo ung mga comments/feedback. I check agelessbeauty website last week but it's out of stock. so nakita ko ung Ishi sa Lazada.. Now I have one. Eto un Ishigaki Advanced Ultrawhite L-Glutathione 1000mg Capsules Bottle of 60. Sana hindi naman magyellowish ung skin ko.

    Question, 1 cap is recommended daily but I was wondering if it would be better if I take 2 caps daily since I'm morena and I smoke pa. Would that make the effects faster/better or same lang and masasayang lang kung 2 caps? Thank you!
