Spend vs Save: Designer Imposters by Parfums de Coeur Review!
I am a perfume enthusiast equipped with powerful olfactory senses. I can detect minute differences in scent; from the top, heart, and bottom notes. I do not judge a fragrance by its price rather by the quality of scent it produces. That’s why today we’re going to feature a surprising entry! Designer Imposters by Parfums de Coeur (149php). Do they smell like the real deal? Continue reading to find out. Also read: A Beginners Guide to Perfumes It’s been a while since I reviewed a bottle of fragrance even if I received a few this year. Like Joe Malone’s recently defunct Blue Agava & Cacao (RIP), Sara Jessica Parker’s Lovely, and The Body Shop’s White Musk. I…

Haha.. 112 – sheer pale pink with shimmer 104 – bubblegum pink 107 – rosey muave 111 – bright red orange 108 – bloody red So I’ve mentioned in my previous post on how Careline’s Lipgloss is soooo goood it can be a really good save version of Chanel’s Rouge Allure Laque. It’s pigmented, moisturizing,…

Spend vs Save: Chanel Rouge Allure Laque Dragon
Because of my blogger friend Donna, I was inspired to search for cheap alternatives for high-end products. She suggested to try Careline lipglosses. I tried and was amazed with the texture, pigment, and staying power of this gloss. More of that in my next post as I bought the best colors available and swatched all of them on my lips! (individually of course) The color Im going to feature today is the red one. Though not exactly alike, I found it to be similar to Chanel’s Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon. A lip color with the right amount of gloss and color. Haha.. pardon me for the messy application. But for 60 pesos…

Mac Pink Nouveau Dupe is Wet n Wild Muave Outta Here
Read a lot of bloggers saying that Wet n Wild’s muave outta here is a good dupe for the ever so popular pink nouveau of MAC. Is it a dupe? (OLD POST NO PHOTOS AVAILABLE IM SO SORRY) Sorry for the zit overload, no time to spot conceal 🙁 and yes, this is how bad my skin WAS. I’m slowly recovering using a regimen, and that’s another topic. MAC is more cool toned, feathery, and drying. Wet n Wild is slightly darker and warmer than Pink Noveau, but it’s definitely close. Muave about it is more flattering on me and is wearable on a daily basis. But for gals on a…

Spend vs Save: Benefit Silky Finish Lipstick in Skinny Dip vs Mentholatum Lipice Color in PrettyPink
I got the mentholatum lipice color because I though it was a lipbalm, stupid me it was a lipstick instead 😛 but it was a good thing, since it’s a close dupe of benefit’s. See how it fares below.. OLD POST PHOTOS NO LONGER AVAILABLE Benefit Skinny Dip is a popular choice and highly recommended as a MLBB (my lips but better lip color) and hubby got this for me instead of the coveted Chanel Rouge Allure in Insolente (a hot hot wearable pink that I’ve longed for so long). I was browsing around watson’s in search of a lipbalm since I just emptied a Carmex pot. I’m not too fond of carmex, just…

Review/Swatch: Chanel Joues Contraste in Candy vs In2It Sheer Shimmer Blush
OLD POST – PHOTOS NO LONGER AVAILABLE I was enticed to try In2It’s Sheer Shimmer blush because I read a review in girltalk that it gives a nice glow and the packaging attracted me. It looks like a hybrid of a Chanel Joues Contraste and Shu Glow On. It looks so pretty in the pan. But I don’t like it so much, the name of the product is what it actually is. It’s sheer. It’s shimmery. It lacks color. If you try to build up the product, you just build up the shimmer and not the color which is very sad because I was actually expecting so much from this. Here are pictures…
