Among so many matte lipsticks available locally and abroad. No once comes close to the quality of The Balm’s Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (Price: 790php). I have a bunch of shades in my makeup box but today we’ll be featuring one of my most worn. The shade in Charming.

How to Use?

Apply using the doe-foot applicator, or with your favorite lip brush, for color that lasts all night.

Review & Swatch

Packaging – It’s a slim transparent liquid lipstick tube that has a secure twist-cap. You can see the actual lip color right away.

Formulation – It has a mousse like texture that glides softly on the lips. You can barely feel it on with its weightlessness. It doesn’t have any tacky or sticky texture while or after setting.

Color – Charming is a rich warm muave that reminds me of hot cocoa. This is something I’d wear on a brunch with my amigas.

Staying Power – Light but long-lasting. It only fades quite a bit when eating and drinking. Stays on a maximum of 5 hours on my lips and leaves a soft stain behind. Still flattering.

Cons? What cons? I don’t see any cons.
