Most olive women have neutral undertones (a special mixture of warm and cool) beneath a blend of green, red, and yellow pigment. But because the pigment has a slight green tint to it (unique to olive skin), it may be difficult to find the right foundation to match.
Olive skin can include light brown skin tones between pale and dark – but not always. Where light olive skin may have cream to beige tones, dark olive complexions can vary from moderate brown. What really sets olive skin apart is the natural green pigment (mixed with shades of red and yellow) slightly visible on the surface of the skin. For some women, these olive hues can give the skin an almost gray or ashen appearance. (Source: http://oliveskinbeauty.com/olive-skin-care/what-is-olive-skin/)
Ta-da! Here they are my bundles of joy! From L-R: Make Up Forever Mat2, Maybelline Lip Gradiation or Lip Blur in Muave1, Pixi by Petra in Honey Bare, Menow Kiss Proof Lipstick in 015, and Shiseido Lip Rouge in PK314.
5 Flattering Nude Lipsticks for Olive Skin
I wear each nude lipstick depending on the occasion and mood. On events, I prefer matte long-wearing lipsticks
such as Menow or Make Up For Ever or Maybelline’s so that there’s minimal retouching but on dates and daily basis I prefer au naturele with slight gloss. I get this from PIXI by Petra Matte Lustre Lipstick in Honey Bare (I get super a lot of compliments wearing this) or Shiseido
Lip Rouge in PK 315 that has more pink tones and slight shimmer.

This was actually a day I was feeling so masipag in swatching kasi I’ve been using these lipsticks on a frequent basis and it would be unfair if I don’t get to feature them here and share it with you lovely folks! I hope you enjoyed this post and hope this helps ladies/gents who have similar complexion to what I have.
