Hey hey hey! What is this I’m seeing? A makeup review? Finally! It’s been a while since I’ve popped my knuckles to write a beauty related post on KIKAYSIKAT. Sorry guys I’ve been spending more time on my advocacies (mental health, gender equality) recently that I ironically neglected the semi- superficial blood of this blog. MAKEUP.
I received a tube of Fascy Attention Velvet Tint #01 Intense Red (Price: 659php) last December as part of their soft launch in the Philippines, along with other of their products for review. Let’s start shall we?
Fascy is a beauty brand that hails from Korea. Attention Velvet Tint is a lip tint with a natural finish. Long lasting and durable; produces a silky shine; adds a subtle splash of color to dull lips

As I’ve gotten older, my beauty rituals started to become more “traditional”. I stuck to bullet cream type lipsticks that worked for my complexion, and won’t go experimental unless it’s been sent to me (ex. Fascy Velvet Tint). Which is wrong in so many levels because whether beauty related or not, we should never stop exploring, experimenting, and growing.
We should never stop exploring, experimenting, and growing.
So after this realization, our beauty adventures shall continue to infinity and beyond!
Fascy Attention Velvet Tint is enclosed in a frosted glass packaging with a plush applicator. The applicator itself is soft but I find it lacking in terms of cushioning. I can feel the hard plastic when it pressed down on my lips.
The red pigment is STRONG and opaque. It has the tendency to bleed upon application so swipe with caution. Best used with a light hand, start at the center and blend outwards. The #01 Intense Red is leaning torwards the brick red – orange side of the spectrum and would look great for folks with warm complexions.
Lasts fairly long, 5 hours without any retouches after eating and drinking. It leaves a nice tint and fades evenly. Not streaky and it doesn’t bleed. It dries after a few seconds and sets nice and soft. I love that it isn’t waxy or sticky. It sets literally as velvet on lips which is really comfortable!
This comes in other shades too from orange to muaves. I wish I’d gotten the pink/nude color as I rarely wear reds nowadays.
