HONEST REVIEW! L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara (Blackest Black)

I recently threw out my Heroine Make Mascara (RIP) because it already smells bad and way past its due date. Instead of going to the hassle of repurchasing from a reseller, I decided to buy from Lazada because I still had credits there LOL. So today, we’re going to do a L’oreal Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara Review.

Now I applied 5 layers of mascara on my lashes on the photos above. The formula is bordering mousse-dry. This is nice because that kind of formulation makes it less prone to smudging during application. Especially when I blink by accident hahaha.  Brush and bristles is typical nylon extra fluffy. Smaller eyes may find difficulty in application.  Good thing I have big eyes. I find that 2 is not enough to give me the oomph and vavavoom my lashes need. It’s comfortable and feather-like on initial application, but worsens throughout the day.

WHAT I LIKE

• Curls lashes and keeps it curled.
• Lengthens lashes quite well
• Gives volume when 3-4 layers are applied
• Doesn’t smudge or transfer throughout the day

WHAT I DON’T LIKE

• Prone to clumps and flaking
• Dries up in less than 2 months (meh.. we need to throw mascaras after 3 months anyway)
• The flaking causes slight irritation on my eye.
