My New (now dead): Xperia Z3 Compact

photo taken by: Oppo R1X

Now I’ve bought this baby from Kimstore for around 16k++ more or less. As a blogger, a fully functional mobile phone with a good camera is a must. Being a clutz as I am, I need something sturdy. I also don’t have the budget to purchase high-end phones, I don’t find it practical as they get replaced yearly anyway. I’m a Sony fan and always will be, so when the opportunity came for me to finally replace my old Samsung S4 (I strayed once, my old phones are Xperia Z and Xperia ZR) I grabbed it.

Why I love my Xperia Z3 Compact

  • It’s battery lasts for 2 days on me with maximum usage, minimal charging. I can’t believe I only charge this when I sleep at night.
  • It’s 21MP camera is THE BOMB. I can finally take better quality photos for you guys!
  • It’s fast and barely lags
  • It’s waterproof
  • It has excellent stereo. I finally maximize my Spotify usage
  • It’s compact. It has high-end specs at mid-range budget at a small-phone size. I don’t like huge phones that don’t fit my tiny hands

Slight pet peeve

  • Because it’s waterproof, it has this flap that gets loose overtime, finally I gave up and took it off permanently. It’s not waterproof anymore but that’s okay.

It’s worth the investment IMO, and I believe this will last me until the next Sony phone that catches my eye.

UPDATE : It fell in the toilet bowl. It’s dead. It’s not waterproof. Bull****.

I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I did writing it!  Please leave some love by doing the following:
Take care beautiful person. Come again soon! – KayCee

I got confused, which is waterproof sis? The phone itself or the case that you took off?

I love that it's waterproof so you can bring it to many adventurous islands without worrying about it getting wet and broken. The 21 MP camera is the real winner here. 16k is a good price, quite reasonable for its specs.

21 Mp for a camera is really impressive. It's also nice that it's already waterproof.

My dad used to own an Xperia and he ended up removing the cover of his charger because it keeps on coming loose too. Before he removed it, he tried it while he was snorkeling and it was working! Haha!

Xperia is a great brand too. Very affordable and reliable for a long time. If my dad didn't love games (he kept downloading games!), his phone would still be working now.

I love the fact that it has a good camera quality but the greatest downfall is it is not waterproof. Condolence to your phone, Kat. 🙁

I used to be a fan of Xperia, before my husband gave me a Note 3. Can't say I don't miss Sony. Oh I love your casing by the way, where did you get it? <3

wait i'm confused, did it fall in the toilet while the flap is open (cos i think that will actually kill it hehe)? you mentioned you took the flap out permanently. is it beyond repair already? hope it gets a warranty fix somehow! XD

Because a phone can easily drop into the water or get misplaced or stolen, I now only buy phones less than P10K with the best specs. I am very very satisfied with my Starmobile Muse, which I am now using for one and a half years. – Fred

I was just about to say that! I didn't know that this is mostly oil. I mix facial oils with Kevyn Aucoin.

Pero grabe Kevyn and Kiehl's = expensive combo.

Currently just using Tamanu Oil or Rosehip Oil with Kevyn Aucoin.

Also, I agree. Free stuff isn't really free. Especially if you have to go an event to get that "free" product. It takes time to dress up and commute. And may cost din yung commute time.

Pag naubos yung Kiehl's ko baka mag extra virgin coconut oil na lang ako LOL or yung Argan oil…

And I've found the review on this 🙂 Right now I only use sunflower oil and it has been effective on me, much more siguro kung I-try ko to. But looking at it's tag – PhP 3,700 (online) Dios mio! Di ko pa to afford (T_T)
