Who else here is obsessed with their brows? 10 years ago, ladies shaped their brows thin, 20 years ago they were bushy thick, but this generation? Heck our brows are perfectly on point. Not too thick, not too thin, just right for our face shape. Always. But not everyone is blessed with perfectly shaped eyebrows, thus the need to have it threaded or waxed; then fill it in with makeup to make sure they’re on fleek. Eye of Horus came up with a dual purpose product that serves to fill in and hold the shape of our brows. Full review below!
What is Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect?
According to their website, it’s a clever 2in1 product contours and fill in your brows with controlled artistry for perfect arches. Add shape, colour and definition in one streamlined tool, and use the Gel brush on reverse tip to shape for the perfect Goddess brows.
Ingredients
PENCIL:
Soybean oil, Coconut Oil, hydrogenated Vegetable oil, zinc stearate, Carnauba Wax, stearic acid,, polyglyceryl-2 triisostearate, Vitamin E, phenoxyethanol, Vitamin C, hexylene glycol. Mineral Colours
GEL:
Aqua, Alcohol, Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, Tromethamine, Phenoxyethanol, Carbomer, Caprylyl glycol, Hexylene glycol
It comes in a handy pen-shaped packaging with 2 ends.
No need for sharpening! This baby is always ready to use. It’s has a slightly angled tip to help you line your brows using short strokes.
SWATCH
The pigment in the pencil is managable. Not too heavy but not too sparse that you need more than 2 swipes to produce color. Sometimes kasi there are pencils that will make you look like a witch because with one swipe it’s too dark agad! A light hand when using an eyebrow pencil is always recommended.
I was expecting a heavily tinted colored gel but this one applies clear. I prefer clear brow gels if they’re used for grooming lang.
Tip: Brush upwards instead of down to make the brows look “natural” than overly groomed. This technique will give you Cara Delevingne-esque brows.

What I Like
- Lasts long. Once I put it on, it stayed on. Well, it’s not indicated to be waterproof but it endured a bit of rainfall
- I hate bringing a lot of things. So this being dual purpose saved my bag some space.
- Twist and use! No need for sharpening!
- The angled tip helped me achieve easy filling in so it looks natural
What I don’t Like
- None!
Do I recommend it?
Yes. Eye of Horus Dual Brow Perfect has been my daily go-to eyebrow makeup these days. No need for a separate brow brush or spooling!
