Comfit Shoes sent me 2 lovely pairs of their shoes from their latest collection to use for my OOTD. I was pretty much excited because who doesn’t love to pose in front of a camera? Even if the shot is just taken by your friend LOL we all want our moments don’t we?

THE STORY

Paul treated us out for a buffet meal at NIU by Vikings at SM Aura. I thought to myself, hey… seems like a pretty good place to take pictures! It was lunch, had adequate lighting, and I was feeling my mood of comfortably casual. When choosing outfits, I wear what looks good on me, no-frills. I’m not up for over accessorizing.  After lunch (ugh I’ll come back for the steaks and sushi!) I told James to take my photo at the sky garden. Paul suddenly teased me “Wag na kikay wag ka na magpicture” sabi ko “Isa lang e” then Paul answered “Isa lang a. Pag lampas isa iwan ka na namen” he continued on with his rude banter. I mean, how can a 5 minute photo shoot hurt?

I HATED PAUL WITH A PASSION. Do you have friends like this? Frenemy as I called him.

Remembering the scene ruined my mood as I write this. How can people be so… I cannot! I told James “Ugh, I’m not in the mood to take photos anymore, let’s just go home” but I realized I cannot let his a**hole-ness ruin my planned shoot. I need pictures! So how?
Look at my shoes!

HOW TO TAKE GOOD PHOTOS IN A BAD MOOD

#1 This may sound Peter-pan-nesque but THINK OF HAPPY THOUGHTS. People who make you angry and frustrated should be put in their places. Rather than ignore, I told Paul to shut up (even if he did treat us for lunch, it didn’t gave him the right to b*tch about everything). Telling him to shut up made me happy.
#2 SMILE. I read somewhere in a book. I forgot where sorry -_- that you can actually fake yourself to be happy. Force yourself to smile and in a few seconds, your mood will lift up. I did and it did.
#3 BE YOURSELF If you really can’t force yourself to be happy, then don’t. Still take photos. Look dramatic. EMO shot. Hugot shot. Whatever you may call it.

Besides, why ruin a good outfit with your mood? I wouldn’t be really inspired to write if their shoes weren’t well-made. Their shoes exceeded my expectations. I was sponsored by a big brand before and their shoes broke on me after 5 days of wear.  These shoes from comfit, despite their high heels and reflective material still runs both sturdy and comfortable. Comfit Shoes have a soft cushioning lined on the soles so your feet are happy!
