No judgements. As I’ve told over and over again on my blog. Let’s be real. Some people want fairer skin. Some people want to be tan. I, for one have been using a lot of skin whitening products throughout the years to achieve the fairness I’ve always dreamed of. The first product I used back in high school was whitening soaps. Thorough the years I’ve tried and tested countless soaps and almost 90% of the time these soaps sting and feels so harsh. Especially when the lather slips down on sensitive areas. Ouch! Beauty should not mean pain.
New Olay Skin Whitening Bars in Rose and Mik, Papaya, and Vitamin E
My readers frequently ask me “Ms Kat, what’s the most effective whitening soap for sensitive skin?” and I couldn’t give them an answer because so far there was none I could think of until now. Please continue reading until the bottom to see my full review.

Olay is already an established skincare brand worldwide. Heck, it’s the only brand my grandma would use. She would make me kulit everytime to buy her fave Total Effects Cream and finally they are applying their expertise on skin whitening. Yehey! So I was invited to their #OneWashWonder event and soon after the big reveal my question is. Can it really lighten skin within first use? So off I went to the sink to try the soap ASAP.
So.. I immediately tried it!
Each soap has a Triple Whitening System that exfoliates, brightens, and evens out the skin tone.

REVIEW

Packaging – I remember reviewing the previous whitening bars of Olay which was dark and mystique. This time around it looks brighter, fresher, more youthful. It immediately stands out among the shelves with its feminine appeal.
Texture – The soap bar is smooth to the touch and when mixed with water, it creates a soft bubbly lather that feels heavenly. This is one of the key features that I love about this soap. Contrary to most whitening soaps I have tried throughout the years. IT DOESN’T STING. NO PAIN. OMG. I’m so happy.
Scent – I selected the Rose & Milk variant to be the first one to test because call me shallow but I love pink! Oh my it smells divine. Like creamy rose ice cream. Reminds me of the couture ice cream they served during the event. It smells creamy and delicious without being sickeningly sweet.
Does it work? YES. I set my expectations every time I use a new product and I was pleasantly surprised during my initial test during their event. My hands looked fairer in an instant. When I looked closer, it also appeared to have micro particles that looked like really tiny flecks of sparkles that when you look afar the skin looked radiant.
Will I buy again? YES. Of course. I’m so glad they chose me as one of their partners because I’m willing to re-purchase the soaps once I run out. Why?
Final Thoughts – My heart has been aching for a long time to use a soap that is not harsh and tingly. Something effective I can use on a daily basis. I’ve been using the soap every day since the launch. The new Olay Skin Whitening Bars delivers and definitely did not disappoint. To my readers who’ve been constantly asking me, yes we finally have it. An effective yet gentle solution to natural skin.

3 – Boringly blah blah blah. Not good. Not bad. It’s like… nothing…so I’ll just give it away to someone who might like it more than I do.
4 – Wow. Amazeballs. It’s super effective! I’ll keep this in my stash for sure until  I find something better.
