REVIEW: VICE COSMETICS Duo Finish Powder Foundation in CHESA (Review, Photos, Swatch)
Hi guys! So I promised you a detailed review of VICE Duo Finish Powder Foundation after a few weeks of using it everyday. This is how I usually write my reviews especially with makeup and skincare. It’s gotten a lot of great feedback mainly because its shade-range is inclusive for filipina women. Whether you’re morena, mestiza, chinita, or in-between. There’s something for everybody.

Review
I mentioned earlier that the Vice Cosmetics Duo Foundation comes in 8 inclusive shades. For this review I decided to focus on the closest one to my skin tone (light-medium neutral) which is CHESA.
Chesa – A Golden Beige shade for fair skin para sa steady mong ganda at kinis!
Packaging – Love love love the barbie pink matte metal case with a soft sponge and mirror you can actually use!
Coverage – Though announced as medium-full. I defintely think this is more light-medium coverage. It’s sheer when applied using sponge on its own and medium when used damp/wet. Which is perfectly fine because the sheerer the coverage is, the easier it is to adapt to most complexions.
Texture – Silky smooth comparable to high-end brands and it doesn’t develop weird bumps even when used for a while.
Scent – Barely detectable rubbery scent (that I assume exists because of the sponge)
Longevity – It’s great in oil-control and kept my face matte longer. But after a couple of hours, the shade darkens a bit and turns pinker on my skin. My sis Gen-zel Laces is defintely correct when she told me to get 1 shade lighter. If you’re acidic I recommend you do the same.
Price – 245php. I have no complaints.
Thoughts – Like all makeup from the VICE Cosmetics line, their Duo Foundation speaks volumes in their tag line “Ganda for All“. Though not exactly my cup of tea, It’s an honest powder foundation that won’t break the bank and performs beyond it’s price.
It didn’t break me out and it’s easy to remove with a regular facial wash/soap 😉
