Dior Rosy Glow Healthy Glow Awakening Blush (Review, Photos, Swatch)

Cheers to Dior Rosy Glow! The blush that will give you the must natural flush! 4 years ago (wow has it really been that long), I wrote a review for my favorite lip balm of all time; Dior Lip Glow. Until now, nothing has replaced such product for me. It’s so expensive for a lip balm but worthy of its price. BUT let me know if you find a more affordable dupe because my wallet is crying. (saka tinitipid ko gamitin LOL).

After all this time, I finally saved enough money (ang OA 3 years magipon hahaha) and mustered enough courage to walk-in a very intimidating Dior Counter in SM Makati to purchase its partner in crime, the Dior Rosy Glow. It promises to give a natural rosy pink flush and adapt to any skin color whether you’re fair, medium or dark.

According to Dior: Recreate the look of just-pinched, rosy cheeks with this finely-milled light-pink blush. The unique formula adjusts to your skin’s natural chemistry to create a customized look and the universal shade, Petal #001, is flattering on all skintones. Its ultra-fine, powder texture and irresistible rose fragrance offer a moment of pure indulgence with each application.

Initially, it looks pasty and chalky when swatched on my hand. BUT.

When you apply it on your cheeks, give it 1 minute and it will magically blend with your skintone. Dior Rosy Glow is the perfect pink blush for ANY skin color.

Packaging A metal covered plastic casing enclosed in a velvet pouch for extra protection. It also comes with a small brush that’s soft and you can actually use.

Coverage  Be careful in application! You may think you need to put more but please wait for the blush to settle else you’ll look like a clown!

Staying Power AY GRABE. It stayed on for 24 hours ata. How did I know? I used it in the morning, partied all night, slept all-day, woke up late in the afternoon and guess what? Blush still there! Retouching not required for this baby

Shade/Finish A satin finish with a pink shade that can flatter everyone. On me, it applies more muave and adjusts to my light-olive skin tone. I read from reviews that on some it looks coral, on some red, on some dusty pink.

Texture Silky and slides like a dream.

Scent It smells like fresh roses. It’s pleasurable to put on.

Will I re-purchase? YES. BUT GIVE ME MORE MONEY PLEASE.
