Shiseido Purewhite W Review [SKINCARE]

Did you know that Shiseido not only produces cosmetics but also vitamin supplements?

THEY UPDATED THIS: https://www.kikaysikat.com/shiseido-purewhite-review-new-packaging.html

I recall taking Pure White W, together with trying out all sorts of supplements from Japan right after I graduated from college and exploring all types of vanity. I actually took these together with glutathione! @_@ It’s bad for our liver but I was experimental and I admit, I was obsessed. There’s actually a popular female forum called girltalk that have women discuss different supplements that work for them not only for skin whitening but also other benefits like finer, firmer, tighter skin. It almost came to a point where a few women were obsessed to attain skin perfection and retain their youth as much as they can. Some resellers have tried selling this “tingi” style to those who don’t have the budget to purchase a full bottle!

Shiseido’s Pure White W is one of the more popular skin supplement together with Shiseido Pure White Ex. I personally tried this for 2 months so I’d like to share you what I have experienced with it. Read further for my review and thoughts.

How does Pure White W Work?

As you can see on the ingredients list the highest amount in  Pure White W is Vitamin C and Lycium Chinense also known as Goji Berry. Goji Berry are rich in fatty acides that stimulates collagen production and retain skin moisture resulting in tighter younger looking skin. Vitamin E for collagen production and Vitamin B2 and B6 for skin refining and smoothing. They can help prevent you from having skin blemishes

You also take this 3x a day, 3 tablets each time. The distributed dosage throughout the day allows your body to fully absorb the ingredients instead of taking it all at once. A girltalker even mentioned taking an overdose if she’s planning to go to an event the following day so she’s ensured her skin is perfect for that day (overdosing is bad girls, don’t do it)

What are its effects?

The high concentration of Vitamin C provides skin lightening, you can read on my other blog post on how Vitamin C alone can whiten your skin and prevent spots. Lycium as I mentioned is a good antioxidant and antiaging so this can build lots of collagen til your skin looks like it’s been botoxed~ kidding! The vitamin B supports in preventing acne.

After taking this for a week, you can definitely notice your skin will become finer and rosier. Pores will appear smaller (probably because your skin tightens with collagen) and pimples dry up faster. It’s sooooooo expensive though.

How much does it cost and where can I buy?

In the Philippines, you can purchase Pure White W at online stores for 2,300PHP. A couple of reputable and familiar shops are Magic-Potions.com and Japanichi.com.ph
